TSP Ventus Soft

I love this rubber. This has very soft sponge and slightly tacky. It’s very good for Block and punch. Medium fast and good throw angle from far the table. I am using Btrfly M.Maze ALC with TSP Ventus Speed for FH and TSP Ventus Soft for BH. I used to play with Mark V (MAX) for my back hand before this. It’s better that Mark V. Ventus perfect to receive service. Very good for chops, easy to loop backspin balls. I like it’s sound when block the fast topspin ball. Very good for near the table game. Good for flicks. This rubber lost nearly 70% capacity in four months. I play nearly 3-4 hours in a day, 4 days in a week. So, fully satisfied with this rubber's performance. :)

This is like an Xiom Vega Euro DF - on steroids! The sponge is equally soft (not sure what it is quoted as but is as mushy as any I have felt) but it has much better gears, spin, and pace than the Vega Euro DF. It is quite a light rubber, and I've seen a few people call it (and its brothers, the Ventus Spin and Ventus Speed) as affordable Tenergy 05FXs. I wouldn't go that far, but it does have many of the same characteristics, minus the weight and durability. On the latter note, mine frayed and split at the edges very quickly and easily, and the black one had shrunk alarmingly when I peeled it off after minimal use, though that was in extreme heat of the Arab Gulf. Overall, then, this may be worth considering if you can find a sheet and want something between the Xiom Tensors and the Tenergy 05 line. It does everything well, including chops in thinner sponges, and spin as with the other TSP Ventus series is very high.

I tried this TSP Ventus Soft, Black, Max on a 729 V6 blade on my backhand. I come from using Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft and Tibhar Aurous Sound. This rubber is better in all aspects. Blocking: Easy. Sometimes I get surprised that my blocks hits the table, thinking they should go long. Topspin: Quite easy as well. Good grip and the sponge gives a bit more speed that Rakza 7 Soft. The ball digs into the sponge in a nicer way. Pushing: Tends to go long from time to time. Perhaps I just need to adjust a bit. Easier to place the ball where you aim compared to the other rubbers. Not so spin sensitive, so that's nice and a bit strange because of the grip of this rubber. This rubber is quite light. Somewhere comparable to Aurus Sound. Rakza 7 Soft is much heavier. Now I have used this rubber a little longer, and it still feels great. It's quite easy to add/disguise a bit of topspin to the counter strikes, and makes it go long for your opponent. ***Update*** Tried it in 1.8mm as well. Even easier to return all kind of balls. A few grams lighter and easier to do flat hits because of the thinner sponge. After about 100 hours of use the rubber start to fall apart a bit in the outer regions, without any physical impact. Perhaps because of removing and adding the edge tape 5-7 times, but it's still a bit fragile. Weight cut, Max: 44g, 1.8mm: 42g

This is very nice rubber for backhand. Even flat hits are possible with high hit rate. Good spin and awesome in serves. Pushes are also very easy.

Nice rubber! Low speed, but still offensive (T80fx is faster). Excelent control like no other OFF rubber tried by me. Grip and spin superb. BH topspin over the table easy to do. This is my new favorite BH rubber (Rasant Powersponge has lower control and more speed) on OFF blade (carbon or wood).
