Ventus Speed is the hardest and fastest variant of the TSP Ventus series. When designing this offensive rubber, the Japanese rubber experts focused on perfect balance between high speed, maximum spin development and great control. The open-pore 45° sponge of Ventus Speed features the new “Optimized Rotation Concept” and is truly made for spin. Thanks the new sponge design, this new TSP development guarantees longer ball contact which results in more rotational energy transfer on the ball. In addition, the higher trajectory resulting from the “Optimized Rotation Concept” provides for great feel and more control in your play. The fast performance top rubber sheet of Ventus Speed develops tons of power and tremendous drive both for aggressive opening loops and mid-distance topspin attacks. Ventus Speed is a highly balanced offensive rubber offering great value for money.

Excellent rubber, has great Speed, and offers good spin and Control. Has a medium throw angle, and has medium hardness. It is a great overall Rubber, for me It best suits the backhand.

excellent rubber !! using it for both forehand and backhand on a yinhe t-11+ blade (stiff, med-low throw blade). due to its non-tacky surface, control in blocking is extremely good. The throw angle is medium-high, giving enough room to play over the table strokes with confidence. Though the rubber is non tacky, but it does have good grip for brush loops. A big advantage of this rubber is that no-spin/dead balls from the opponent during serves are very easy to handle, and you easily flick them over table. A point to take care of is when you are brush looping close to the table from below the table..since the rubber is non-tacky and does not hold the ball much, a hard loop might overshoot the ball. So, one needs to trust the grip of the rubber and engage the sponge, and do a medium loop clsoe to the table from below the table

I've been using this rubber Since Jun'2015. It's perfect for my game. Very very fast and very good throw angle. I am using Btrfly M.Maze ALC with TSP Ventus Speed for FH and TSP Ventus Soft for BH. This is a low hard sponge and completely non tacky. I used to play with Mark V before this. Its completely better that Mark V. Ventus responses less to incoming speed. Very good for loops, good for chops, perfect for topspin, easy to loop backspin balls from below the table. I use full swing for loop and topspin. So, ball goes high angle and lands perfectly on the table. It's good for topspin with side spin. This is my main weapon. when playing touches it keeps the ball low. This rubber nearly lost 30% capacity in 4 months. High quality rubber. I play nearly 3-4 hours in a day, 4 days in a week. So, fully satisfied with this rubber's performance. :)

This is a very high quality rubber that can be a strong weapon in the right hands. It has high control to go along with good spin and speed. Very high quality product.
