When Yasaka developed RIGAN rubber, the GOAL was to combine the advantages of “classical” rubbers and “modern technology” rubbers. With RIGAN Spin you get a perfect ball control and a dynamic speed characteristics, resulting in a rubber that is very easy to handle. RIGAN Spin has high Spin and durability offering a great value for the money.

Speed: 89
Spin: 95
Control: 91

Yasaka rubbers are steeped in history dating back all the way to 1926. The flagship rubber for Yasaka has been the Mark V. Mark V burst onto the table tennis world stage in the 1970 and 1971 World Championships taking home victory in both competitions. The Mark V is still going strong today and other versions of the rubber have been produced through the following decades.

More recently Yasaka has developed Rakza rubbers which have taken innovation to another level. The shape of the pimples provides a strong balance between spin and speed. Rakza rubbers use Hybrid Energy to provide synergy between top sheet and sponge providing great elasticity for power and control.

Yasaka has many more rubbers in their product line as well. Yasaka rubbers are used by top professionals as well as players of all levels. Be like 2019 World Championship Silver Medalist Matias Falck and choose Yasaka rubbers.

Rigan Spin! Even the Rigan, when it camed out on the market was more like a continuation of a classic Mark V, than the two upgraded versions HPS, and HPS Soft. It had, and has all the trademarks of a Mark V. I will be talking about the successor Rigan Spin here! And You have absolutely right when you say Rigan is an upgraded tensioned HPS. With new technology Hybrid Energy. A wonderful, spinnier version, in fact the spinniest yet, Mark V, combining the best of Rakza and Mark V. Its no Rakza 7, but it is very cool with the inbuilt power, and the rubber that anyone just can pick up and play, like they never had played with something else. To the price, it is a crazy cheap rubber that last so long that you ll ne able to discuss it with your children/grrand-children, depending on the age you are I will start, after my initial test with a group of friends to order 15-20 pieces. Play the Spin version as fh and the older version as bh. Its a terrific backhand with great spin, together with a stronger fh-rubber, like Japans most sold rubber, the Nittaku Fastarc G1!. oR vice verce, its terrific as a Max sponge for drives, and spinny serves, and a Rasanter R47 as backhand. As crazy ii sounds, the more crazy it gets when you realize im right! Anyway, buy and feel like you are 14 yo and just about to take the weeks first training pass with your new Mark V. Your own Mark V!

Depending on the sponge, herecan be much differences. Max Sponge is almost just like to play with a MX-P in1.9, albeit thespin not quite there. But it is for sure zippier, and with more spin than its original followers up HPS and HPS Soft. This is, my ladys and gents Mark V in a.d 2019!

The 4 first trainings with this rubber ( Nittaku Renanos on) bh was a thrill to the past, and a hymn to the future and easy to play-rubber that anyone can pick up.

Wow. I did not see this coming! I mean Rigan was very good, actually better than Mark V HPS. This is way, way better in all aspects! 25% of our traininggroup plays with this now! You can do everything with it. And the spin! Say no more.
