Review of Butterfly Hadraw SRTHIS IS A TOP CLASS BLADE!My new favorite. Its like the Hans Asler or Clipper that's well used and has ,"aged",liked a good wine. My ,"Clipper", and ,"Zhang Jike", are wonderful but for a player and trainer of 17 years this seems to be the best I have come across in a long time as you will see this by my reviews. The Tenergy rubber sheets are top notch but Mendo and Mark V still do the trick for me. People will often go for the fastest Carbon one and not realize that the extra speed is immaterial if they cannot return serve or play basic shots possible. Its like trying to do Calculus and Applied Maths if you cannot do basic Arithmetic. A friend and colleague of mine played in the German 2nd league for many years and never used a blade other than a Stiga Allround and a Donic Allplay I digress-this is a wonderful blade and one that you will like and use if you want one that is fast but has a great feel and compared to many blades that are one the market has control- ten out of ten. Review of JOOLA Rossi EmotionThis blade sealed weighs 88.6grams. It feels very good and is finished well. It is fast but not too fast-I would say like the Stradivarus- it is as fast as any one would need. Control will vary with the sheets you put on it but I found it very connistent and a perfect trade off between speed and control. It is worth the money as it is an excellent blade-for an offensive style of play where topspin is a must-this is your best choice. I have played with many including another Joola blade the Viva which has better control maybe but though rated the same in speed is not as fast as this. Its a top class professional blade.Also it has a large ,"sweet spot", and is good for push and drop shots as well as fast loops and blocks.Aug 27, 2011 | |||||||||||||||

I take it that its ,"chunkyness", is one of the reasons it has good control for a- fast plus blade.It does not forego defensive qualities such as ,"push shots and return of serve", for absolute pace. Review of Nittaku ViolinIt is a wonderful blade.A light and superbly consistent blade that many people would play better TT by using. It is not too fast. It has all the speed you need without the loss of control or feel. It is a fast blade- Butterfly's Primorac or Optimum Sync plus a bit. However it doesn't lose control at all. ( Far too much emphasis is put on Carbon and very fast blades.) I know a man who played in Germany in the professional league and he never used a blade faster than a Stiga Allround or Donic Allround . Review of Stiga Tube Defensive WRBIts a blade with a lovely feel to it.Made of 5plys of wood, when glued using speed glue with Sriver on the forehand and Chop and Drive on the backhand weighs 152.6grams. This is significant for it is very light-and when compared to many other defensive blades comes in a whole ounce or more lighter<28grams!!!! It is excellent for feel and control , and is very slow-one of the slowest blades I have played with. However with the correct rubbers you can still loop and smash without trouble.
