Butterfly Timo Boll ALC

Review of Butterfly Timo Boll ALCMy favourite blade for the past 8 years. This blade does it all for me. Excellent feel and touch. This blade is fast. Faster then you might think and read from here and this shows in the control sometimes. If you can control the blade this is an absolute beast and worth the money it costs. However im not that very advanced player or that pro player to fully get the max out of this blade which sometimes results in loss of control. I have to hold back on powerfull shots. But thats just sometimes and most of the time i can do it all. Its a great joy to play with this blade cause you feel every ball you hit and get excellent feedback from it. Id recommend this blade to any allround to offensive player out there!Apr 04, 2023

Butterfly Harimoto Tomokazu Innerforce ALC

Review of Butterfly Harimoto Tomokazu Innerforce ALCUsing this blade for 1 and a half years on very regular basis and lately as my main blade. Short game it feels like an all wood touch and when you engage the wood with more power or mid-distance the carbon activates and you get that nice click sound and feel of other carbon blades. The blade gives me max control and feel, similar experience I had with the Timo Boll ALC but softer in touch. It pairs well with medium hard to hard rubbers. It will balance the arc then. The speed is less then other similar carbon blades but you will get control in return which helps with placement. Still definitly no beginners blade. You still need some skill, experience, feel and technique to get control and max out of this blade. Weakpoint becomes the speed when you play far away from the table. The speed will be less and you are vulnerable for counterattacks if you dont compensate that lack of speed with your own power. Mid-distance and certainly close to the table you wont notice any speed difference compairing to other similar innerforce alc bladesJan 13, 2026

Tibhar Samsonov Alpha SGS

Review of Tibhar Samsonov Alpha SGSI have to agree with Ogondia for a bit.Above the table fast enough and very good control. The control is very consistent which makes this blade a blade very well suited for allround attacking players. However the further you get away from the table it gets slow very fast. This makes it hard to spin from mid distance or further. For a close to table player who blocks, flips and close to table topspins this is an excellent blade which you gonna love. The control it gives makes it excellent to defend with as well but its not at its best there. For a player like me who likes to mix up his play with close to table play, mid distance etc etc it gets frustating at times. Im currently looking for a blade what suites my style of play better. So if anyone has a suggestion feel free to advise me. May 19, 2014
