Andro TP_Ligna OFF
|

Review of Andro TP_Ligna OFFSimply the best blade I have owned. 5 plies with outer spruce plies which raise dwell-time so much that you can feel the ball penetrating each micron of the rubber sheet then it finally reaches the wooden structure with perfect vibrations felt in the handle which is the most comfortable flared handle I have held in my hand. I must say that this 85 grams blade is well balanced and with Rasanter R47 and R42 glued on it, it is simply perfect! The price I paid is far from the 150USD. I paid 139CAD and for that price : what a deal! German Andro brand is amazing for both blades and rubbers. My previous setup was a BTY Timo Boll ALC with DHS GoldArc 8 47.5 on both sides and I prefer TP_ligna by far for its exceptional control even if it is a notch slower. TP_ligna OFF is like a BTY Petr Korbel with more dwell, less flex and more speed. I really recommend for any intermediate to 1500 level players.Jul 16, 2021

DHS Power-G PG7
|

Review of DHS Power-G PG7Currently using PG7 with Yinhe MStar on FH and Gewo Hyper XT Pro 50 on BH. This Blade is awesome. Head heavy for sure, but not so stiff. Dwell is good. Just to mention, I use 50 degrees sponge on backhand and it is a charm, a powerful charm. Could be paired with everything. Every shot is easy to play. It is a powerful 7 plies, really different from 5 plies. More power, less dwell but a good in between option instead of buying an uncontrollable carbon pricey blade. Nice quality. Have fun! I will never buy something else before reaching 1800 level. Update : Now playing PG7 with Skyline 3 neo on FH and Donic Bluefire M2 2.0 mm on BH and... Let me say... I found my setup for the next 20 years. I tried a lot of blades... Clipper, 5 plies in many brands like Xiom, Gewo, Yinhe, Donic... Some carbon blades too... Nothing is better than a 7 plies feeling and power. 2020 Update : Changed rubbers for DHS Neo Hurricane 2 on FH and Donic Bluefire M2 max thickness on BH. Simply Wow! Despite the small sweetspot, seriously, for 30 USD$... You can't get better. I'd prefer my Bluefire to be 2.0 mm because I'd feel the wood better. Control would also be better. Unboosted H2 gives me enough power : my loops have tons of spin. I was looking for DHS H301 for more power but I prefer sticking with my all wood 7 plies. Spending more money will not bring opponents in my basement this year, thanks to Covid, that cool dude! heheOct 10, 2020

Donic Ovtcharov Dotec OFF
|

Review of Donic Ovtcharov Dotec OFFI have been playing with this Dotec Off for 1 year now. It is true that the handle limitates wrist rotation in backhand. I found a solution! Just reverse your rubbers! Switching the blade from side to side solved all the problems. I have now a better backhand feel and this changed nothing on forehand. Using TG3 neo on FH and Bluefire M2 on BH. This setup suits me the best. In conclusion : I will keep this blade and stop trying other setups because nothing seems to be better than that, for me! The feeling is really really smooth.Update : BREAKING NEWS! The blade handle broke while playing. This handle has never been thrown on the ground si it is fragile. 70$ on the garbage. Yinhe N9S

Review of Yinhe N9SThis blade... Like many from this cheap chinese brand, is OVERRATED. Too stiff, too hard, no feeling at all, but great speed! HahaDefinitely for beginners. But I would buy a Huieson blade for 5 bucks before thinking of Yinhe. Dec 28, 2019

Yinhe W-6

Review of Yinhe W-6Like all Yinhe blades : too stiff, no feeling and kind of cheap wood.Sorry guys... A DHS PG7 has more dwell and loops better than this. That high pitch sound when the ball touches plastic/wood or whatever it is made of... Annoying. No power at all. I would never recommend that blade. Feb 22, 2021
