A great table tennis blade. Definitely better than the classic version. It’s completely unclear why it’s not available for sale now.

Butterfly Phalanx

Speed	8.0
Control	10.0
Stiffness	3.0

Hardness	5.2
Consistency	10.0
Overall	9.7

Review of Butterfly Phalanx

Legendary table tennis blade by Butterfly.
Construction: anigre – anigre – ayous – anigre – anigre. Very lightweight. Its main advantage is incredible control, while still offering strong offensive capabilities. I would rate its speed as Off-.
This blade is the predecessor of another legendary Butterfly blade: the Andrzej Grubba model. It should be noted that the construction of the Phalanx II blade is different from that of the Phalanx blade.

Review of Nittaku Forestia

Excellent table tennis blade. Made of kiso hinoki wood – it offers soft feeling on the one hand and great speed on the other. It helps to develop skills and reach a higher level. Unfortunately, this blade is no longer available for sale.

Speed	8.0

Stiffness	5.0

Hardness	5.2

Review of Nittaku Violoncello

It’s a very good table tennis blade. Worth its price. It’s great for chopping with long pips, but it also performs excellently in attack. An ideal blade for the modern defender. It offers more control than the JSH, which is simply too fast. Interestingly, Nittaku also released this blade—an older version—under the name "Vioncello".
