Review of Butterfly Cypress G-MaxNothing on the world can substitute the feeling of driving with a Cypress. The G-Max is the king of Cypresses and if you have the means, do a favor to yourself and buy one. It is not a blade, it is an artisan's love work. All other blades I have (shakehands and penholds) look industrialized. This is handcrafted art!

Review of Xiom Hibi OAs a traditional Jpen player, I am always looking for good 1 ply hinoki blades. Having played with cypresses, senkohs, Excellent As and Musashis, I have to say this is a great blade. The building quality is out of this world, in the same level of Cypresses and Nittakus. Right now, among others, I have a Cypress G-Max, so I will compare both. Even being Jpen blades, the way they approach Jpen is very different. Hibi-O is modern, specially made for the new poly ball. Maybe, that's why it is ogival, larger near the handle, whereas Cypress has a more square shape. The handle of Hibi-O has more details and it is rounder, giving it a modern and cosmopolitan look. But what matters is how they feel, right? And, my friend, they are opposites. Cypress feels more solid. It is your old dog that will never fail you. It will block, it will drive and it will obey you blindly. You know what to expect and it will deliver. Hibi-O is your new cat. It is pretty, it is nimble and it is agile. You will feel quicker, believe me. In the end, it will come to what you prefer. Both are masterpieces that will put a large smile on your face.
P. S. I used Xiom Omega Asia VII and tenergy 05 on both.

Review of Yinhe J-1Bought it to try, since the price is really low. If you really want to try Jpen, please buy a one ply hinoki. Today there are cheap Chinese hinoki options. If you buy this blade, you will think Jpen is not fun and will quickly go to shakehand. This blade is bulky, inconsistent, too slow and have very little feeling. Many people think this blade is good for a beginner, because it is slow. They are wrong. It is slow, but has no ball feeling. Looks like you are playing with a brick. If you want it slower, buy a thinner hinoki, but don't buy this. Go with a hinoki blade and thank me later. By the way, it is not lighter than Hinoki. It is 2 grams heavier than my Hibi-O and 2 grams lighter than my Cypress G-Max.
