DHS Power-G PG13
Review of DHS Power-G PG13My Holy Grail of blades. Chinese do know how to get it done. If Wang Hao really helped to design this beauty I am thouroughly amazed. What a guy... Control is amazing. Service amazing. Touch, undercut and short game, fully controlled, even with soft-springy tensor rubbers. Handle is great for Bananas and backhand kills. Forehand topspin is a dream, harder you hit the better. Sound is delicious when you bottom out. Vibrations almost none. Sweet spot almost covers the edges. Feeling is great with loads of control on all of the shots. Very direct aswell. PG-13 is cheaper version of Hurricane Hao 3, which I had pleasure to play with. To me this blade is flawless. Nothing bad I can say about it. It works well in any scenario, from close, from far, blocks are just awesome, underspin shots are easy to perform aswell. Placement with this blade is impecable. And the price... It took me few sessions to adjust to it, but I am playing better and better each time.Manufacturers details are messed up on revspin for this blade it has 5 layers - Koto/Ayous/Fibre(middle), it is the same as I mentioned before. DHS Hurricane Hao III

Review of DHS Hurricane Hao IIIIt's a perfect offensive blade. Good feeling, good control, good feedback, good handle, good weight. I can't really think of any other blade that is this good. It is just expensive. I do not know what wood its composed of, if someone could post it in a review that would be great."Structure of HH3 is koto - ayous (horizontal) - fiber glass - ayous (horizontal) - koto." Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon

Review of Donic Anders Lind Hexa CarbonAwesome control. Produces a lot of spin. Gentle Carbon feel. Plays almost like all wood. Not 2 fast. Good quality. Handle is great. Looks very nice. Weighs less than most of my blades - 84g. Has just enough feeling for developing players, even with rubbers that tend to mute the feeling of the ball - Ten05FX. Sweetspot is alright. Best blade for a beginner IMO. Lobs are easy, blocks ez, putting ball back on the table is so intuitive to me with this blade, banana the best you will ever do, strawberry even better, cuts go on table nicely. Real joy to play with. If you put very spinny rubber like Ten05-FX it can produce truly comical arc on slow, controlled brushes. I think this blades shines with spin oriented rubbers. Wish it was tiny bit cheaper, so I would buy 2nd one. The only downside is that it doesn't outright destroy the oponent on flat hits or far from table, but to me this blade has no faults and is close to perfection. Only Hurricane Hao 3 comes close and that blade is almost perfect aswell - more offensive, less spin, even better feeling.Other similiar blades to this I would say is Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon, but it has less feeling and speed, control though the same. I highly recommend this blade. Huge props to Donic for this one and actually listing which wood they've used to make a blade. Probably only company that does that. TY DONIC! That is my first Donic blade and certainly not last. Oct 20, 2025

Palio TNT-1

Review of Palio TNT-1It works surprisingly well with Rakza X-soft on the Backhand and Rasanter45 on Forehand.Arc is flat with this blade and shots are powerfull. It seems like the blade is catapulting the ball in a straight line. Insane on block. Funny blade. Makes "dead" rubbers seem very springy, and "dead" rubbers are feeling very much alive on it. Very peculiar blade. Sep 15, 2025

Sanwei FEXTRA 7
Review of Sanwei FEXTRA 7Best blade for beginners with offensive Euro Rubbers like Ten05 or Bluefire M2.Adds a lot of control to otherwise uncontrollable rubbers. Blade is stiff enough and soft enough for any stroke. Doesn't excel at anything, but it is very good at everything. It is better than Stiga AC, Yasaka SE, Tibhar IV-L and other Allround blades I've came in contact with. If you like thick handle aswell this one is a must try. EDIT1: Its a great blade for training strokes. Every time I go to play and warm up I start with this blade. Sweetspot is massive for an all wood blade. Works really well for me with Bluestorm Z2 on FH and Donic Bluefire M2 on backhand. It is not as crisp impact as Koto blades I own but it is decent. The finish of the blade is also fantastic. Stiga Allround Classic
Review of Stiga Allround ClassicThis blade is super slow. Doesn't mix very well with harder rubbers on forehand. The ball tends to die and goes to the net, even with sticky, hybrid rubber like Rakza Z. With Chinese rubbers it is just dead forehand, completely. On backhand doesn't mix at all with tensor rubbers. Had Xiom Vega Europe and it was tragedy composition, due to the speed of the blade you had to put more force into shot and ball would fly out of the table. On a different blade Xiom was very controllable. It only goes well with linear non-tensor rubbers. I put Rakza X-soft on my backhand and it was an instant improvement. It is very dissapointing blade to me since the handle(Legend) is very comfortable and it is thin and weighs not that much - 85g, blade looks great aswell. The ball feeling is one of the best though and it gives you some control, f.e. blocking is pretty good with this one. People say it is great beginner blade, but I have used my brothers Hurricane Hao 3, which is definitely not a beginner blade and it is just way better. To clarify: I've used many blades already: cheap/expensive/beginner/advanced/different compositions of wood/carbon/ all-wood and I've got to say that this blade is overpriced and doesn't provide you with sufficient speed to play modern TT. I will continue playing with it and bettering my technique, since I am a beginner, but there are better ones and cheaper to start with.It seems like I am very negative here, but I am not. The blade is a classic, looks great, gives you good vibration(feedback), allows to produce good topspin and is good for blocking, but the speed is insufficient to me. Dec 14, 2022

Tibhar IV-L
Review of Tibhar IV-LSuper weird blade and I love it! Weird composition - 4 plies Ayous, weird handle(35x23 mm at the end) - longer than usual flared handles and more flat at the bottom, but wider sideways and thick at the same time, comfortable though with good, soft finish. I really enjoy just holding it. Blade head is also weird since it is smaller than in other blades(150x152 mm). I really like this blade since it fills my hand nicely, it is soft to the touch, weight balance is great and it feels very light, especially with soft-light rubbers. Wood is soft with great feeling of the ball and with sufficient speed, but it is not too fast, so blocks are good aswell. Control with this blade is the greatest out of the blades I've used, I can't really put on my finger why. When you hit the ball with it you feel it, however it is strange feeling like you are hitting it with compressed paper box, but it is great feedback. It also merges well with any rubber you put on it, whether it is chinese tacky or euro/jap rubber, soft/hard - doesn't matter all feels great with it. Control is great for beginners with this blade, it is also way cheaper than many beginner allround blades. If you can get over its strange handle and your hands are below 170x105 mm I can't recommend it enough. The only downside I see is that if you cut rubbers to this blade and you want to sell them later, they won't match any other blade. Good, classic blade with loads of control, good dwell and sufficient speed, but not overwhelming for a total beginner. Well done TIBHAR.Jan 04, 2023

Yasaka Sweden Extra
Review of Yasaka Sweden ExtraIt is like some1 said here: "Like a stiga classic allround but 2x better at everything." Except the ball feeling. Vibrations on Stiga are much more pronounced, but other than that this blade is better at everything. Feeling of the ball is very good, just not as in your face as it is in Stiga AC. It is stiffer, tad harder, larger sweet spot for sure, faster and more direct than Stiga AC while still having loads of control, also is more linear due to lesser flex and softness, still soft though with good dwell. My new favourite blade for sure. Handle is very comfortable(flared) it is almost the same as Stiga AC Legend Grip, but kinda better, even thought it is just a tiny bit slimer, like 1mm. It is cheaper than Stiga AC and Butterfly Grubba aswell. No brainer for me. Everyone should try this blade. To me its king of allround blades and Yasaka continues to impress me.Jan 04, 2023

Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon
Review of Yasaka Ma Lin Soft CarbonPlays like the better version of Yasaka Sweden Extra, thanks to thin carbon layer. It is stiffer and just a little more offensive, not by much though. Which eliminates all the problems of YSE.The handle is nicely trimmed, but other than that, it is bad craftsmanship. The "EYES" are on both sides and they protrude out of the handle, which is annoying. Handle is not polished. Blade head has been varnished, so you need strong glue to keep rubbers on it. You can have good placement with it and produce good spin, dwell is allright, but lacks the feedback on hit to me. Not as crisp as other blades. Still better than Limba/Ayous outer blades, so I guess it is good enough. Mine was 92grams. It is a lot, compared to YSE which I had - it weighed 86grams. I would recommend this blade to beginners who want a quality blade which is not that offensive to develop your game. If I were to start again my journey I think I would gravitate towards this blade in the start. It is also much more up my alley than Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon. That one is more springy and has less feedback on hit. Price is 2 high IMO. YSE is 2 times cheaper. And if you want cheaper and good wood only blade I would go with Sanwei Fextra 7 over YSE. Yinhe PRO 01

Review of Yinhe PRO 01Very good blade, but 2 fast for me. If you struggle with its speed slap Rakza Z-FH and Xiom Vega Europe-BH and you can play with this blade as a beginner, it has good control then and good feeling. Blocks are fast and direct. Topspins very well. Quality is awesome and handle is silky smooth and fits in the hand really well. I got nothing bad to say about it other than that it is not for me personally.Nov 04, 2025
