Andro Super Core Cell OFF
|
||
Review of Andro Super Core Cell OFFI don't wanna fill the ratings simply because this blade doesn't fit me. My old blade Andro Carbon Compact OFF- is faster (this frustrates me, I thought OFF will be faster then OFF-) and the whole feeling of it is better. This blade feels soft and slow. It is very good for blocking but I'm a top spin attacker and I need more speed. If you like soft blades and prefer controll instead of speed, try this. It seems I need to get any carbon off blade instead of this.Jun 10, 2011

Andro Carbon Compact OFF-

Review of Andro Carbon Compact OFF-Awesome blade, I've been using it for years. Not very fast but it's controll is awesome. It feels hard but this is exactly what I like for my top spin game. I've tryed some softer blades but they lacked power. I simply need harder carbon blade for my top spin game and this one gives me what I need. The quality isn't somehow perfect, it looses small pieces of wood around the edge of the blade but it happens after 5 years.Jul 20, 2011

Avalox P700

Review of Avalox P700This is the best looping blade I've ever tryed. Good speed (should be OFF+ but it is more likely only slightly faster OFF), soft feel, good controll. I don't like the sound but I don't care. This is simply an awesome blade for attackers prefering more spin. It works well with chinese or medium-hard european rubbers. I have an excellent experience with Rakza and DHS Neo, worse with Tenergy. I'll get the 2nd sheet of Rakza and my setup will be perfect.Nov 18, 2011

DHS Power-G PG7
|

Review of DHS Power-G PG7Excellent looping blade. This blade is stiff without vibrations but looping is very easy anyway (it works best in mid distance). I'm using it with tacky rubbers so it is controllable in a short game even if it's speed is very high. Conclusion: Awesome mid distance looping blade. The only problem I feel is it's high speed in close to the table pushes. I'm keeping it anyway, I love it's touch, controll and looping ability. 9/10.EDIT 07/2012: After a long time with this blade, I've settled down with T05 and Palio Blitz glued on it. It felt very fast for the first time but it is overally very good. Great blade, best in mid distance looping. Highly recommended. Mar 01, 2013

Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive
|

Review of Yasaka Ma Lin Extra OffensiveEDIT (mid 2011): It is not that soft actually. I was using hard carbons before that one and this blade feels really soft comparing to carbons. But I've tryed more wooden blades and I've changed my mind - this is a medium-hard blade with low flex. After more time with Rakza on it I must say it works really good. Ok, you feel some vibrations when hit a ball but it works great except this (I actually like it more and more day by day). Tenergy works good as well so it is not suitable for chinese rubbers only. I haven't tryed it with a soft rubber yet but I guess it's flex + soft rubber is not a good combination. I recommend it with rubbers. Great blade.EDIT (April 2012): After many many hours with this blade I can say much more about it. I have a non jttaa regular version. It is softer in comparation with most of carbon OFF blades but in the range of all wood blades it belongs to the group of harder ones. It works very well with Rakza (I must say that after all), Tenergy or Coppa X1. These rubbers are medium and make a good harmony together. DHS Neo rubbers work good as well (I don't recommend rubbers harder than 40°). I paired this blade with Palio Thor's recently and it wasn't that good for me. Thor's is a tacky, hard rubber. It is playable but hard rubbers like Thor's require more flex. I've heard the jttaa version is diffferent, don't know how it plays. Conclusion: all wood, stiif blade, low flex. Works great with medium-hard euro/jap rubbers and DHS Neo up to 40 degree sponge. If you use harder rubber, look after a mor flexible blade. Apr 10, 2012

Yasaka Sweden Classic

Review of Yasaka Sweden ClassicGreat allround blade. Soft and flexy. You can play every style you want with this blade, maybe it's regullar size makes it slightly worse in classical defense but it is still very good. I've tryed to pair it with:1) Donic Baracuda - great spin with excellent touch. It was ok close to the table but lacking power from mid distance. 2) Tenergy 05 - excellent match. It's feel and speed was great (even in mid distance - it wasn't like a bomb but still capable to earn points). 3) Globe 999 Nat - slow and dead without speed glue, very good with it (nice speed - around Baracuda, awesome spin, high throw). I'd say this could work as a forehand rubber for long pimple players. 4) Palio Thor's. Good close to the table but lacking speed in mid distance. Thor's is an excellent rubber but requires an offensive blade for successful attack. Mar 02, 2013
