Butterfly VSG-1000

Review of Butterfly VSG-1000The name says it all. No vibration, but with good feeling. good for blocking, but good in offense too. But if you use it, you'll know it lacks something. If you go for chops, the ball flies, go for all out offense, it lacks the power needed for the kill. for loops, you'll find your balls less heavy even with good swings, so easy to block.. I teamed it up with variety of rubbers during the time I used it: tuttle beijing 3, sriver fx (FH) , stiga Mendo energy, hurricane 3 neo (BH). Anyway, still a decent blade.

Butterfly Amultart ZL Carbon
|
Review of Butterfly Amultart ZL CarbonThis blade is sure FAST! I mean it, REALLY FAST. But it can be played down up to the "ALL" level. If you have the control in your own hands and doesn't rely on the control a blade offers, you'll definitely love this blade! You can go Wang Liqin with power packed top spins, or joo se hyuk with thriller chops, fine, you can manage with this blade!! Some says it "chooses" right rubbers to play it well, but NO, it is a variable blade. It can be played from all- - off+++. Put euro rubbers, and you'll get the hell of spin out of it. Put chinese rubbers, and you're ready to make the ball rush in 5th gear, provided you can control it. Got mine previously paired up with hurricane 3 neo nat'l blue sponge (FH) and a donic coppa JO platin (BH), and I dominated many well respected players in our club. Anw, presently I'm fond of using my H-WL with H3neoBS (fh) and BTY sapphira (bh), my amultart is currently teamed up with yasaka Xtend HS (BH) and JO platin (FH) (I'm thinking of switching to H3 or Globe national.) If you have the dimes, Go for it!

DHS Hurricane H-WL
|
Review of DHS Hurricane H-WLComing from amultart, I found this blade a little less in bounce, (with same rubbers) esp when you go for blocks. (Block with amultart, you'll feel like it was countered), but after training for couple of hours, I adapted the necessary adjustments. Used it with H3 neo nat'l Blue sponge (fh) You need to use your arms to drive,(chinese style). You can block well with this, but a counter is much more preferable. Its thin, which is very good in swinging fast. Much more feeling /vibrations when blocking, (which is a good thing for me, since if you don't like such, you'll be forced to counter and find out that it's easier to be done.) Flips easier than the amultart. This blade excels in all out offense.
