DONIC Ovtcharov Original Senso Carbon - 8-ply:

The original blade used by the reigning European Champion!

A unique new ply formation with two separate inner plies, two carefully glued Ayous plies - treated and glued at high temperature and at top pressure before being cooled before the next stage of production. This forms the core. These plies are surrounded by two carbon plies to give the blade stability and the necessary hardness.
The purpose of these procedures is to maximise the "sweet spot". The Senso handle design has been well received for many years and valued for its precise return of the ball.
This has served Dima Ovtcharov well. The European Champion has commented that "this blade was a huge help to me on my way to the world's elite. DONIC's "know-how" and the Swedish blade technicians have created a blade precisely to suit my game. It is everything that I could wish for. As a result of their expertise I can develop top speeds when attacking but am able to retain super control when under pressure.
This blade was made for me!"

Ply structure: 6 layers of wood + 2 carbon layers
Plies: Ayous / Ayous (inner plies), Anegre, Carbon, Limba (outer plies)

This blade is surprisingly good for its price. I bought one on sale for about $40, but it performs very well. It’s stiff with very little vibration. It’s outter plies are softer, giving this blade good dwell time and exceptional control. I’m shocked by this blade’s excellent control. **UPDATE** 01/16/2019: Recently changed rubbers and spent more time playing with this blade. As a result, I have a found new appreciation for it. Mine weighs 93g and is 6.1mm thick. I put Yinhe Big Dipper (38 degrees) on FH and Palio AK47 Yellow on BH. This rubber combination is on the lighter side. The racket ended up weighing 178g, which is fairly light. Despite the hollow handle, the racket is only slightly head-heavy. The FL handle is thicker than Stiga's FL handles. The speed is not crazy fast, solid OFF blade. Remarkably, the the throw angle is high, higher than any of my other blades. I've been using Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner and Stiga Intensity with the same rubbers, I would categorize these two blades as having medium high throw angle. Speed is similar to Acoustic Carbon Inner and Intensity, but Ovtcharov Senso Carbon's higher throw angle provides more safety and better control. If you are looking for a controllable carbon blade at a good price, this blade will not disappoint. It has enough speed to support the most powerful players and enough dwell time to support any type of strokes.

I'm using this blade for a week. I can say this blade is the best blade I have ever played with. I had tried Viscaria, Ma Long 5, Fang Bo ALC, Victas LFC, Stiga infinity vps, etc. Each one of them had a special characteristics in one or some aspects, but this blade is a collection of all. Good serve, good receive, power loop, spin loop, short game, soft and aggressive blocks, control and so on. I recommend it for every offensive or allround offensive player.

Unique blade . Carbon blade with all the advantages of all wood blade, there carbon is very thin so the blade maintains high flex and feel. So it feels like a very good wood blade with big sweetspot able to to block very well. The result is high throw blade with high dwell . So it doesn't feel like full on carbon blade but the benefits are there , no extreme speed from carbon which make this blade in the category Off. This blade tends to be heavy but the headsize is slightly smaller resulting good few grams rubber cut off, so blade weight is slighty compensated as a result. The quality of blade is high, I can say it much better than some high end butterfly blades at a fraction of the cost.

I used this blade with Donic Bluestorm rubbers — Z1 Turbo on the forehand and Big Slam on the backhand. I’m quite fond of its lightness and the almost complete lack of inertia transfer to the tip, which gives it great maneuverability. That said, the setup was well above my current level. This blade is extremely fast and unforgiving — definitely not for beginners. However, for highly offensive players who rely on speed and direct shots, you will absolutely love it.
