The Septear Lead is a beautiful and well constructed blade with great feeling. It's position within the Septear series is somewhat different. While the original Septear is a high power OFF+ blade, the Septear Lead is OFF- even leaning on ALL+. The outer ply is hinoki wood making this blade highly controllable with plenty of power to end the point.
I have the jpen version. Lots of control with this blade while still having plenty of speed, and super comfortable handle too. The fact I go back and forth between this and my Darker Hinoki blade says something! On the jpen blade a slicker wood top layer is used instead of cork on either side of where the lower blade meets the handle - might be odd for a penholder at first, although I think it may be easier to generate spin on serves if a loose grip is used.
Tried this because of the reviews here, and on other tt-sites. Incredible blade, i have never played such a beauty, that has it all. You can use both fast, thick rubbers to slower, with an outstanding spin. I have experimented alot with it, surely tested ten different rubbers, all playing good. In the end, as for now, i will play wiyh Andro Rasanter R47 on fh, and Tibhar Evolution MX-S. They are so good rubbers that i some times i swich while playing!
Bought at TT11. Best Off- i played with, and the quality!!! The first blade i never need to sand. All gears, gods beauty. I put Andro Rasanter R47 on forehand and Tibhar Evolution MX-P on backhand. I can now do it all!
My all-time champion. It is soo beauty, its sleeping with me , im in love. Better than original, and more expensive Septear.
This blade making straight up on the Asiasmost sold rubber. Full Nittaku-quality. Amazing blade!
