Red Cypress was developed for the offensive player looking for a blade offering a wide range of playing possibilities. It confers soft service and good speed and also an outstanding sensation at ball/bat contact. Feel comfortable playing this blade at any distance from the table. Top-quality blade made from 7 plies. The top layer made from cypress wood essence confers an incredible high-quality design.
This is an excellent blade. I have had this blade for 4 years and it still preforms well. It is a med/high grade paddle but not for a highly offensive game style. This blade has many gears and has great ball placement and vibration feedback. It's too bad that this blade has been discontinued. It was a good one.
First, i must say this is totally overrated blade in Brazil. Got it from TableTennis11 for a more confortable price.
Very comfortable and light weight blade, however, a little bit thin for my like!
Pros:
- Good control (you can pair it with fast rubbers like Acuda and still have a good control)
- Light weight
- Red (i love red)
Cons
- Very thin
- It's kinda fragile (at least what i get)
It's a good ALL+/OFF- blade to play a balanced game.
--- UPDATE
After 4+ months playing, i must say i don't like this blade very much.
Red Cypress + Acuda S2 (FH) + 5Q Sound (BH) = good when you want to attack, attack heavy and attack fast. If you need to control your game, it didn't work very well to me. Also, it already broke inside after 4+ months.
