DHS NEO Skyline 2 TG2

Review of DHS NEO Skyline 2 TG2First starting out, I didn't experience the high throw angle that everyone else was talking about. Rather it was quite inconsistent, being high and low at times even though I put the same power and angle on my loop.I was also disappointed with the amount of spin that it produced. Keep in mind that I have only had it for one day, and everything could change after a couple of sessions of playing like msilhanek's review. Will keep everyone updated. (Update 1) Okay, after 1 week the rubber has become definitely faster and livelier, so that break-in time that everyone is talking about is true. It produces outstanding spin and the throw angle has definitely lowered so your looping strokes have to be more vertical to bring the ball over the net. I have realised that to bring out the true potential of this rubber, you must do a full, powerful swing- and I mean hit it and hit it hard. I put all my power onto my forehand loop and the ball turns into a rocket spinning way into outer space! I'm disappointed about the rubbers tackiness however, its gotten less tacky. (I clean it with a damp sponge after every session and treat it like a baby!) Despite this the spin produced remains more or less the same. I would only recommend this on the forehand after trying it on both forehand and backhand. I would also strongly recommend it to players who have a powerful, straight arm loop as this will bring out the full potential of the player and rubber. Jul 11, 2013

Friendship/729 Cream Transcend

Review of Friendship/729 Cream TranscendIm still getting used to Chinese rubbers, almost all have super high throw angle because of their tackiness so you have to kinda close your bat angle a bit more when you loop. This rubber is no exception, its no too fast but produces decent amounts of spin, good for lifting heavy backspin balls. Control is not too bad either. Very tacky, after 2 months its still reasonably tacky with regular cleaning of coarse. Overall good rubber but no for the pros, but for intermediate players. After 4 months, rubber is still tacky and plays like new, still looks new as well, if you clean it after you play. Chinese rubbers last for a very long time! Aug 14, 2012

Review of Friendship/729 729-5Currently using it on my backhand. Its brilliant for blocking, almost every shot gets back on the table. Its fairly fast I would say, 8-9/10. Produces a lot of spin so excellent for serves. Control is kind of lacking for me... Its slightly tacky, but still produces plenty of spin. Throw angle is pretty high like all Chinese rubbers. Its also hard hence the reason its good for blocking. Edit: 4 months now and rubber is still slightly tacky with regular cleaning with a damp cloth after play. It still playing like new, I think it would also be good on the forehand. Aug 14, 2012

JOOLA Mambo H

Review of JOOLA Mambo HAn allround rubber, not very fast.On brush loops, lt has a low throw angle and doesnt produce much spin. But when the ball digs into the sponge, the throw becomes much higher and the spin produced is enormous. It is obvious then, that I would recommend this rubber to those who engage the sponge while looping. Jul 11, 2013
