Review of Adidas P7Great allround rubber which I use in 1.8. It's fast but controllable and it's easy to loop with. Close at the table it hits superbly and at a medium distance, where I spend most my time, it does great as well. Great and easy to use. I hope they keep it in production!

Review of Butterfly RozenaAlthough this rubber is often described as a jack of all trades and therefore boring, the Rozena is really an amazing rubber. What it shines at is dependability. Surely this is not something that sounds as sexy as high speed, high spin, high everything but it’s a remarkable feat nonetheless. Everything from serving, to flicking serves, topspinning pushes and blocking it does well. I think this allroundness can be credited to the slightly harder topsheet and the still firm sponge. Both make the rubber less sensitive to incoming spin while also providing the rubber with enough speed and dwell. The one thing I noticed however was that it is at times easy to overshoot the table on the 5th and 7th ball, but I believe this is due to my inexperience with the spring sponge and past play with short pips.

Review of DHS Tin Arc 5I play this rubber on a def+ blade, the Yasaka Sweden Defensive. Yet it's still capable of producing amazing speed and spin with no effort at all. Very different than NEO rubbers I have played with. To me it's very much a tensor rubber. Reminds me of a soft version of the Adidas P7. However, due to the rubber's softness it sometimes performs a little inconsistent and loses power away from the table. Could be because of the blade too, it's quite flexy and soft. Great rubber for me though.
Update: I fell in love with this rubber more and more and ordered a second sheet in the 35 degree hardness for on my Yasaka Goiabao. On this blade it performs even better, as the harder blade dramatically improves its consistency and my ability to place the ball wherever I want it to go.

Review of DHS Tin ArcReally liked this rubber on my Yasaka Goiabao. Excellent short game and opens up on backspin with little effort. Additionally it has more than enough speed to finish the point and a dangerously low arc. Reminds me of a TG3N but much easier to play. With it being a lot slower than modern tensor rubbers, you can easily unleash your power without missing the table. The downside is that you have to learn that the rubber does nothing for you by itself. You have to put a bit more effort in your shots.

Review of Friendship/729 Battle IIFor $15.- this rubber is a definite steal if you possess both a fast carbon blade and a tub of booster.
The rubber is very tacky at the beginning of its lifespan, which scared me a little at first as I expected it to be
incredibly slow. To my surprise it was decently fast but without catapult. This meant I could use most of my power and create insanely loaded low arcing topspins with a huge kick with about 75% of the effort I would need with H3N. The only pitfall this rubber has is the same that all tacky rubbers have; you need to stay agressive and well positioned to get the most out of this rubber.

Review of JOOLA X-Plode SensitiveI played this on the backhand of a lightweight and bouncy blade, the Donic Persson Dotec OFF. On this blade it behaved like nothing else I had ever seen. The throw angle was enormous, resulting in my backhand opening loop becoming quite a safe shot. Additionally the relatively slow opening loop was loaded with an extreme amount of spin, which led to most of my opponents misreading the slow shot and blocking it way off the table.
Granted, perhaps it's not an easy rubber to play in all situations due to its bouncyness, but for spinning the ball it is stellar.

Review of Tibhar Evolution MX-SWhen I first played with the MX-S I absolutely hated it. It was so heavy and the harder I hit with it the lower an arc it seemed to produce. I'm glad I didn't take it off of my blade however, as the second and third time around I discovered how I could make this rubber shine; serving, heavy and well placed topspin drives from close to the table and precisely placed active blocks and pushes. One warning though, this rubber will do nothing for you if you have bad technique and improper movement. Be there and commit to the shot or your opponent will expose this rubber's weaknesses.

Review of Xiom Omega V AsiaAs an aggressive third ball attacker I used to look for rubbers that serve decently and can grip and rip a ball with a lot of speed and spin. Now that my level has gone up I noticed that stability and control have become much more important as my opponents can return more serves and more drives. Therefore, shots such as blocking and the short play have become more sought-after characteristics, as I’m confident my serves and drives will be adequate no matter the rubber. With that in mind I opted for the harder Omega V Asia which excels in everything I need to do to win a point, whether it is playing controlled blocks and pushes or playing devastating drives. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to play it actively on forehand pushes as it seems somewhat sensitive to heavy backspin.
