Review of Nittaku Factive

The ideal rubber for backhand side of shakehand grip. It mostly suited players who love brushing the ball more than hitting hard on the ball, also the consistency of blocking and looping the backspin is amazing, those make my game comfortable. In fact, it is not a hard rubber(45 degree) as manufacturer described.

Review of Nittaku Renanos Bright Hard

A 42g(cut) medium hard non-tacky japanese sponge rubber. (Recommended for backhand)
There is no doubt with the speed produced by its sponge, but I found that there is a strange oil layer on the rubber surface, which make players almost unable for looping the backspin ball, unless making the hard and accurate brush.
Sometimes it feels like a boosted Anti-spin rubber since I could use this rubber to receive backspin serve by push and not reducing backspin.
On the other hand, the rubber is so crippy and the sponge could not afford the normal rubber removing, please be careful or determine to stick on which blade.

Instant smash? Metal sound? Light weight? Accurate block? Consistency on looping?
This rubber could give you all of the requirements above but the rubber lack of durability.
*I found that using black color of it could grab the ball better but sacrificed a little speed*

Review of Yasaka Hovering Dragon

The is a Japanese brand chinese-type rubber (also made in China).
When I was expecting it would be a sticky rubber, this rubber is completely non-tacky and blurry,
so I doubted whether it helps blushing the ball well or not.
The fact is, it did it, could easily loop the backspin serve that it is convenient for starting up attack.
However, it requires a proper swing to keep the ball over the net during fast attacking exchange.
Otherwise, the ball would slip and sunk into the net because of the non-tacky rubber surface.
Overall, it is a great blocking rubber and good control in close table, but not newbie-friendly.
