Review of Donic Bluefire M3Learnt BH topspin, loop and block using DHS H2..then Used Xiom VEGA Euro DF. Now M3. I would say learning BH with H2 is difficult. Technique has to be perfect and absolutely consistent. When I changed to xiom Vega Euro DF. It was so easy to do all the shots. Now with M3 it's even easier and more consistent as compared with the Xiom (I just do the shot with just reflex action and the ball goes in as compared to the other two rubber I need more concentration aspecially with the H2) . Since I learnt my BH with DHS H2 this is not a hard nor it's a heavy sponge for me. All I can say about M3 is to confirm what others have said about it... Great for looping underspin balls, topspin drive, blocks, short and long underspin push. Loads of topspin on loops and drive with high arc. I didn't mention serve because this is my BH rubber and I use my FH rubber to serve which is DHS H3 Neo. Overall an excellent BH rubber and it pays real dividends if u already have good technique. Then all BH shots suddenly become much easier to do and land. I would say if you are a flat hitter and smasher, this rubber is not for you. U must u spin to make full use of this rubber.

Review of Nittaku Hurricane 2 (H2) ProWas using DHS H2 for BH & FH. My H2 pro came with #20 39Deg +-2, 2.2mm orange sponge. Found it heavier than regular H2. But over all I think this Pro version is better than H2. Better control, easier to loop under spin, and is very well made. For me I found it a touch slower than H2, which was a good thing for me as it helped me get more balls in. You must engage the rubber and sponge well to get the most out of it. Not really suited for flat shots but I rarely do them anyway.
Down side. You have to be technically sound with all your strokes or the rubber will punish you. You cannot have half baked indecisive shots and strokes. Use the rubber like a good player or a pro would play and it'll reward you well. You must know how to counter all forms of spin or the rubber will be too unforgiving for beginner to intermediate levels. Not good for passively blocking, you need to do punch block or a push block. But it gives good control for BH side spin fade block.
Overall, you have good strokes, active-attacking style and athletic (good footwork like the chinese) to make this rubber shine. If you have euro style or jap style of play and strokes this rubber is not for you.

Review of Yinhe Mercury III EUROUsed it on Yinhe T11+ blade. The rubber needs a fast blade. I find it very sinilar to Donic Bluefire M3. With less tensor less grippy topsheet and a less sprigy/lively sponge. I find it a better BH rubber than FH. Its has enough spin for all types of shots if ur strokes are good. Dont expect the rubber to help you get spin. But its grippy enough to open up underspin, is more forgiving on most shots because it less sensitive to incoming spin. But grippy enough to do BH flicks, pushes, sides spin etc. Very good beginner to intermidiate rubber. Its really worth the money if u have budget constraints. It does work on FH but not as well as on the BH.
