Butterfly Rozena
Review of Butterfly RozenaIf you think you need this rubber because your a beginner, dont. Many people make the mistake of not just buying the equipment they deep down know they will end up with anyway. Get the best equipment, and get used to how it works as fast as possible. If your total beginner and relatively young you will outgrow inferior rubbers like this in less than 3 months. Not to mention learning LESS than if you played with much better equipment from the beginning. I wasted 1 year believing the opposite of what I just wrote. Spend lots of money on rubbers(because I wasnt happy with it) and blades while deep inside I knew ill end up with a classic setup: Viscaria and Dignics 05. With this setup you get overwhelmed in the beginning but learn quickly how nuanced and sensitive this game is. My skills exploded once I used proper equipment. Every mistake I made was obvious and clear. Equipment can become a great teacher in itself. You learn little from inferior rubbers and blades. Now I got a drawer full of equipment I will never use. Save your money. whats best: 1 great expensive racket setup, or 7 inferior ones that cost more combined?Mar 07, 2025

Butterfly Dignics 05
Review of Butterfly Dignics 05Dignics 05 – Not Love at First Hit, But Worth the WaitDignics 05 is my current go-to rubber. Took a while to get here—mainly because I wasn’t ready for it, and the price hurts. But it lasts a long time, so in the end, the cost evens out compared to rubbers that wear out fast. I use it on both sides of a Viscaria blade, max thickness. The combo feels made for each other—light, balanced, powerful. D05 is excellent for fast rallies, topspins, and aggressive blocks. It’s stable and consistent. Some say it’s hard in the short game—and that was true for me at first. But after getting used to it, I can now flick, drop, and block short with no problem. It just takes time to adapt. Spin? Plenty. Maybe not the absolute most, but close. And you don’t sacrifice control like you do with some ultra-spin rubbers. D05 has a clean feel, good feedback, and stays predictable under pressure. It took me 4–6 months before I felt fully confident using it. This is not a rubber that feels great on day one. It takes commitment. Everyone who tries my setup finds it overwhelming at first. But if you swing through the ball with intent, it performs beautifully. You can find faster or spinnier rubbers. But finding one that balances speed, spin, control, and durability like this? That’s rare. Tried D09c—too much arc for my taste. D05 has a medium or slightly low arc that feels more natural and controlled. Bottom line: D05 rewards strong, aggressive play and good technique. But if you’re a beginner or want something easy right away, skip it. This rubber only shines if you put in the time. Jun 12, 2025

DHS Hurricane 3 (H3)

Review of DHS Hurricane 3 (H3)This rubber is the most bang for your buck I have tried. Its REALLY good. Those who say its slow dont know how to play hard. its fast if you flick it fast. The spin is amazing. I used this after the butterfly rozena on same blade. no comparison. DHS beats it on all areas. I however also used the nitakku fastarc G1 on same blade and its even better than the DHS but also cost almost 2x the price. Nitakku has more control than DHS and Rozena. yet its faster spinnier etc. Its just a better rubber. period. If you are on a budget the DHS is a no brainer. best for the money by far. DHS NEO Hurricane 3
Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3buy some Haifu booster and this rubber. Boost the rubber. put on a fast outer layer carbon blade...... aaaaand if your into tacky spinny chinese rubbers you just got the perfect setup. World class. I am actually getting tired of ESN rubbers. there are only so many ways to reinvent the wheel. I am gravitating towards fast chinese rubbers or the new hybrids that dont require boosting. currently loving the Tibhar Hybrid K3 as its grippy spinny with total control yet a tiger underneath ready to roar with the very hard sponge. best of 2 worlds. However.... this DHS rubber done with proper boosting is very very similar as its only weakness is speed which can be fixed.Apr 13, 2024

DHS Gold Arc 8
Review of DHS Gold Arc 8I bought this for 20$ on aliexpress in max for both FH and BH. It feels VERY similar to Fastarc G1. So its a great ESN rubber. wont last as long as G1 so financially G1 is cheaper in the long run.But im tired of ESN rubbers..... I like dignics better or..... Try out triple boosted Loki GTX. Or the Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia. Will give you more fun and nuance. Oct 22, 2024

Loki GTX Pro
Review of Loki GTX ProSo its one of the best rubbers I ever tried in all price ranges AFTER triple boosting it with Haifu Seamoon Yellow booster.I use Dignics 09c normally and this is faster. more spinny. less throw angle. Easier to learn to play with. dignics 09c will have better blocks. and if your skilled it has more subtle nuances and better control if you are a GOOD player. if im lazy.... GTX will forgive you. If I feel in top shape that day 09c will offer dimensions you wont find in GTX. But GTX is better than ANY ESN rubber I ever tried. Also better than any chinese rubber I tried. Jun 26, 2024

Nittaku Fastarc G-1
Review of Nittaku Fastarc G-1This rubber is one of my favorite rubbers of all time. It beats Rozena, Donics, the chinese tacky stuff etc.Put this on a outer carbon blade and you will have the opponent run for cover when smashing. It might be possible to find faster rubbers but nothing I have tried yet myself. And im not looking to go faster as its irrelevant at this level of speed it has. At one point more speed isnt really needed and more control and spin will be more important. This is where G1 shines. The Japanese found the right balance. The right sweet spot. For the serious player. Arc is not crazy high. More straight shots at high speed. but if you know what you are doing holy moly. Throw angle not high as well. Dont misread.... if you like looping it will do it very well. With aggression. G1 means action. You GOT TO engage the sponge. move forward. attack. passive play.... your looking at the wrong rubber. bounce is there but not crazy. easy to control.... Oh did I say its easy to control btw? It is. with proper technique. Its like this: G1 wants to teach you TT and make you sweat. It demands legwork and proper movements. If you are a lazy sunday player standing up swatting flies, move on. Not for you. However, if you play proper, damn you get a response. It will love you. You will love it. G1 doesnt like me on my off days where im just too tired to bother giving 110%. It loves me when I do. There are more forgiving rubbers than G1. Spin is crazy good. Best serves I made driving my friends insane. Im impressed with how spinny it is. Grippy, not tacky. One of the best selling rubbers in Asia. Still. after all these years. On tabletennis11 you can get 4 for the price of 3 at already great individual price rubber. I dont work for them. I just shop there. G1 outlasts in longevity all other rubbers I ever tried. Its still good after 10-12 months of 5 days a week usage. I change it at that time but not even sure I needed to. Tibhar Hybrid K1 European Version
Review of Tibhar Hybrid K1 European VersionJust tried this on my friends carbon blade. It is 1.5 years old rubber. He could still lift the ball of table for a second or more. its STILL tacky. VERY spinny. I cant say anything about the sponge if its like new but I would assume so. Its not too soft. Not too hard. feels in between. Its like a DHS H3 Neo only faster. and without booster. loops and topspins are insane. When in good hands this rubber is hard to play against. The serves are crisp spinny and super controlled. I use K3 on viscaria myself and its faster. same spin. much higher throw angle. K1 will last a long long time.Apr 13, 2024

Tibhar Hybrid K3
Review of Tibhar Hybrid K3why make a rubber that last 4-6 weeks only? (I play daily)This is the best rubber I played with basically. Its VERY similar to Dignics 09c which cost 80$. I prefer slightly k3 over 09c. but do the math: k3: 70$, last 4-6 weeks. 09c: 80$, last 6-8 months. Yearly cost: do the math and you will see K3 is ONLY for sponsored players that swap rubbers every week or so. Go on TT forums...... everybody talks about how epic this rubber is. and how hard it fails in durability. Oct 22, 2024

Yasaka Rakza 7
Review of Yasaka Rakza 7Im a 2000 rated player. I bought this rubber for someone else to use on their Donic True Original Carbon(outer red) in Max both sides. This rubber is fast enough for finishing shots but its not THE fastest out there. There comes a time where more speed isnt really the question. I think R7 is fast enough. Its extremely easy to play. Placing the ball easy. high level of control. Blocks extremely easy. Spin is good but not DHS H3 neo or K3 good. grip is maybe little less than G1 and DHS GA8 but I can still make serves that frustrates my opponents easily. Its way better than Rozena in all ways as a example. any 1900 rated player or less would love this rubber and the limitations would be on the player not the rubber. However it for sure needs a fast blade unless your a beginner. If your beginner get this rubber on a all wood blade. you will learn TT rally quick this way. But on a fast blade this rubber can kick some serious butt too. Dont be fooled into thinking this is a slow boring rubber. I felt super safe, precise and in control with it. While doing all my tricks, flips and loops like I used to on much more so called advanced blades and rubbers. Its a classic for a reason.Apr 13, 2024

Review of Yinhe Jupiter 3 AsiaAre you kidding me? for this price? Its one of the best rubbers out there. Beats all the ESN rubbers. Boost it and you will have a smile on your face. This and the boosted GTX pro from Loki are the 2 best rubbers from china. Jun 26, 2024
