Review of Donic Coppa X3 SilverI have been using this rubber for a year in 2.0 mm black version on backhand, paired with Donic Epox Powerallround blade. I bought it for 30 euros. This rubber has an average speed (it is not slow but not enough fast for me), a low throw angle, gives a significant amount of spin (more than its pair, the Donic Coppa X2), has a low throw angle and a very soft sponge and topsheet, all these together give a very strange combination of characteristics. By my opinion, this rubber is not good for smashing. Due to a slightly mushy feeling and long dwell time, the ball contact is sometimes too long and causes a misfeeling which causes a mistake when hitting and looping. The topspin strokes on the table are executable, but away from the table are very difficult, because of the low throw angle. On the other side, the backspin and flick strokes are very comfortable and controlled with this rubber, especially the flicks can make problems to the opponents. The blocks are low and fast, uncomfortable for the opponents, but need adjustment, otherwise they will go into the net. Serves are also good with this rubber, but need higher throw-out from hand, because of the soft sponge and topsheet. Generally, this is an interesting rubber with some good and bad characteristics, but it depends on the players playing style, whether it will be good and suitable for someone or not.

Review of Donic Coppa X2 Platin SoftI have been using this rubber for a year in 2.0 mm red version on forehand, paired with Donic Epox Powerallround blade. I bought it for 30 euros. It has an adequate speed for me, it is fast but not too fast, slower than fast tensor rubbers, it is also very controllable, made for precise smashing and blocking. Due to its medium-low throw angle, it is weak in using topspin strokes against heavy incoming backspin and that stroke needs special effort. It is also slightly sensitive for incoming spins, so the very heavy incoming topspin also bounces off sometimes. Its pair, the Donic Coppa X3 gives more spin, despite it has even lower throw angle. I do not recommend this rubber for spin-oriented top class players, but it is a good choice for players who rely on strong counterhits.

Review of Donic Acuda Blue P2I have been using this rubber for a year in 2.0 mm red version on forehand, paired with Donic Epox Powerallround blade. I bought it for 40 euros. It is relatively fast, not superfast, but fast, a bit slower than rubbers from Tenergy series. Also, considering its speed, this rubber has pretty good control, but the user has to be careful with his stroke adjustment and footwork, otherwise overthrows on clear smashing strokes and blocks, with uncontrolled long flat balls can often occur. It is not so spinny as Tenergy, but enough spinny for a player with average amateur technique, especially on opening loops and flicks, even against heavy incoming backspin, but when the rubber starts wearing out, logically this good characteristics of the rubber become much weaker. It has a medium throw angle (on the lower half), which is adequate for every stroke near and on medium distance from the table, but not far from it. The rubber is slightly bouncy on backspin strokes and pushes, and the adequate execution of those strokes need more attention, but it also depends on individual playing technique. Compared to Acuda Blue P3, Acuda Blue P2 has higher throw angle and is better on offensive strokes, like smashes and top spins, but the Acuda Blue P3 is better for serves, pushes and precise blocks. Overally, the Donic Acuda Blue P2 is a good choice for offensively oriented all-round players, who are not professionals, but advanced amateurs.

Review of Donic Acuda Blue P3I have been using this rubber for a year in 2.0 mm black version on backhand, paired with Donic Epox Powerallround blade. I bought it for 40 euros. It is medium fast, a class slower than the modern fast attacking rubbers, but not slow. This rubber has very good control, and that is its biggest advantage. Backspin strokes, pushes and blocks are comfortably executable with it, as well as serve returning flicks, but the player has to execute full stroke when doing it, otherwise the ball easily goes into the net, due to the relatively low throw angle. The lowish throw angle can also make problems on attacking smashes and top spins, which are executable, but need more open angle. When those strokes are successfully executed, the low spinny balls make trouble to the opponent, because the rubber itself is pretty spinny, spinnier than its pair, the Acuda Blue P2. Compared to Acuda Blue P2, the Acuda Blue P3 is slower, with lower throw angle (not too low as Coppa X3), but it is slightly spinnier and has much better control. Overally, the Donic Acuda Blue P3 is a good choice for amateur players, who tend to play with basic strokes and to have good control.

Review of JOOLA UppI have bought a 1.9 mm thick pair of this rubbers and used both for forehand and backhand, their price was 12 euro per a piece. The fact, that I am an amateur player, who has not well developed playing technique, could affect my experience with this rubber. By my opinion, this rubber worth just how much it cost, not less and not more. This rubber is for all-round play, and it allows precise smashing, but at the same time it is not enough fast, so the powerful smashing needs special effort. When the rubbers were new, they provided enough spin both for looping and for the serves, but after just 2 months of occasional playing with them, 2 or 3 times weekly, the rubbers lost their tackiness, and the level of the provided spin became low. So, this rubber is not durable. The control of this rubber is pretty good when smashing and blocking, but it is quite bad for chopping and returning the serves, while the top sheet on it is too hard, despite its sponge is not hard. Another bad point is that this rubber has weak consistency, and before every single use it is hard to anticipate, how it will act, I am not sure what it depends on. As conclusion, I think this rubber is adequate for recreational playing and it is better than the rubbers on pre-assembled rackets, but it is totally inadequate for more serious competitive table tennis.
