Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX
Review of Andro Hexer Powergrip SFXI used the Hexer Powergrip SFX last season 2023/24 after not not playing since the so called Corvid pandemic and considering I just wanted a rubber that was not to unpredictable and good grip to create a good spin and the Hexer PG SFX proved perfect. After playing with this for a season I thought I would try some different newer type of Hybrid rubbers and tested a lot of club members bats to find one that could generate more spin. Even though some of these rubbers have higher spin ratings here on Revspin I was dissapointed to find that I could not generate as much spin as my Hexer Powergrip sfx. Joola Tronnix, Tihbar MK, Andro Rasanter R42/R47, Gewo Nexxus all were great rubbers to play with and try but my Adro Hexer Power SFX was just that little bit extra grip and spin. After a lot of testing I will be using the Hexer powergrip SFX on my backhand again next season due to it being an absolute spin monster, whipping all to submission. But on my forehand where I'm a heavy hitter I noticed the Rubber was not as durable and had suffered after all that thrashing and that I did prefer some of the other rubbers I have tried due to speed, power and spin combination. So if your looking for a quick spin beast which is better than it is actually rated on Revspin, then the Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX was revelation to me and my game. It could be that my technique is suited to this Rubber but I have been so pleased I tried it and can not recommend it enough for fantastic spin and good power combination. Andro BYPE

Review of Andro BYPEI stuck this on a Yinhe T11's blade and have not stopped playing with it for a month and I’m now using it in my league games. It's similar to the Andro Hexer SFX range but not quite as spinny, if your not familiar with the Hexer's then this is one of the most spinnyiest lightweight rubbers out there. The reason I’m now using the BYPE is that you get a good feel for the ball on the rubber and I find it a little more consistent than the Hexer, the BYPE has a slightly harder sponge so you have slightly less spin but placement and speed is easier, blocking is automatic, flicks and pushes and overall short net play is very consistent with that great feel. In summary very spinny, very light, quick and consistent which is great at both attack and defence. If you want slightly spinnyier then go for HEXER range but you loose a little power and control. I have tried many other Rubbers but still the HEXER SFX are the most spinnyiest I have ever used. It's very light and I will update this review once I find the weight's uncut and cut. Andro Rasanter C45

Review of Andro Rasanter C45A really good rubber that has a good balance between power and control which I I have now used for a few months. Its very good at getting the ball back with its counter spin characteristics, placement is great and good speed for attacking too. All said and done this rubber will not blow you away but will make your playing easier if you are struggling for form.Jun 08, 2025

Gewo NanoFLEX FT40

Review of Gewo NanoFLEX FT40A great rubber without the tackiness so it does not suffer from particle's sticking to it and maintains a consistency that gives you the confidence to go for your shots. I use it on a 2.1mm with a Yinhe T11+ carbon bat which gives me great spin and looping shots which suits my style of play. So for me it has improved my game and has put a lot more enjoyment into seeing my opponents struggle with my serve and returns. Highly recommended.Oct 07, 2017

Gewo Inventus XT Pro 50.0
Review of Gewo Inventus XT Pro 50.0I stuck the GEWO Inventus XT Pro 50-degree on a Yinhe T11's blade and instantly found that this suited me the most out of all the rubbers I had tried for my forehand recently. The best thing I found was that the rubber generated a lot of grip, feel and touch even though it was on a 50.0 hardness rated sponge. Even though the previous rubber I used was rated as a 47.5 sponge hardness, I was able to make the ball dip quicker, faster with no noticeable loss of accuracy which helped with my overall consistency. I was also very pleased with the amount of spin I could generate with my forehand serves which is helping set up my 2nd ball attack if the opportunity arises. If you want more spin then the Andro Hexer SFX or BYPE are excellent but Inventus XT Pro 50 has more power if you want to hit it faster with spin. In summary its spinny, light, very quick and consistent, its been great at both attack and defence for me and I’m currently using it for my league matches. My T11’s with MAX Blue GEWO Inventus XT Pro 50 and MAX Black Adro BYPE is 172g total weight which helps with wrist fatigue. It's very light and I will update this review once I find the weight's uncut and cut. Sep 21, 2024

Tibhar Hybrid MK
Review of Tibhar Hybrid MKVery nice rubber to play and I soon found it easy and pleasing to play with. Slightly tacky, very grippy with i would say a medium throw angle with great loop effect, easy to smash with. The rubber feels softer than 48 degrees, short game is great, ball can easily be kept short and spinny. It also chops well, serves are good and all in all is a very pleasing rubber to play with with great all round performance which rewards you with great performance if you are hitting / timing the ball well.Jun 07, 2024

Tibhar Hybrid MK FX

Review of Tibhar Hybrid MK FXThe Tihbar MK FX is a very nice rubber and I soon found it easy and pleasing to play with. Slightly tacky, very grippy with a medium throw angle with great loop effect and also easy to smash with. It feels slightly softer than the MK and I get slightly more loop with the FX rubber. Play can also easily be kept short with chops, flicks and pushes which are easily achieved if you have a good technique. Serves are good and all in all it is a very pleasing rubber to play with having a great all round performance which rewards you if you are hitting / timing the ball well.I have the Tihbar MK FX on the backhand paired with the Tihbar MK on the forehand making it a very good bat / blade to play with and all my fellow players also enjoyed using it and were always very reluctant to return the bat to me after having tried it. Great all round rubber. Jun 10, 2024

Xiom Jekyll & Hyde V47.5
Review of Xiom Jekyll & Hyde V47.5I stuck this on a Yinhe T11's blade and instantly liked it but after 2 months of using it I found that my technique of hitting through the ball more than brushing the ball made me hit the ball to long when I had not got enough time to return the ball in the middle of a fast rally. It’s a very nice rubber but it is not as spinny as I hoped and I have used many more rubbers that I can generate more spin than this.If you want spin then the Andro Hexer SFX range is quite a bit more spinnyier than this and is easier on the wrist with being lighter. I did enjoy using the XIOM Jekyll & Hyde V47.5 which gave me a great feel, touch and control but with me using it on my forehand I was not able to generate enough spin with my forehand serves which was disappointing for me. I did try it on my backhand but I much preferred the one I already use. In summary spinnyish, medium Hvy, quick and consistent if you have the time to play the correct stroke, was good at both attack and defence but was not for me. It's med Hvy and I will update this review once I find the weight's uncut and cut. Sep 21, 2024
