Review of Butterfly SapphiraSurprisingly this cheap Sapphira can play like the normal DHS Harricane except it was lack of speed that can kill the opponent especially close to the table game where giving chance to the opponent to attack however in contrast if you loop hard enough it may create the opportunity for you to attack. With this price tag please do not expect too much from this rubber but using for training purposes it works well for you. Also, I found it only suitable to use for the forehand if you put it on the backhand it does not generate the power to kill your opponent. Therefore, do not expect with lesser strokes to end the game.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 25 FXThis could be the faster among all Tenergy series but you cannot have both sides fit with the same T25 FX as it really means for attacking game so you really need to have the stamina to play that kind of game. I found it too hard to produce spin so every time you have to hit hard in order to generate more spins. In other words, if you are not playing attacking game then you should not choose T25 FX instead where you should consider to use T05 and T80. T64 is fine too if you would like to play a safer game where you put control as your priority. Some players always thought that they can kill their opponent with just one "hard hit" stroke so every time they hit very hard unfortunately it was not always the case where no matter how hard you hit the ball, as long as it is reachable by the opponent you will be surprised that your opponent may return the ball with more spins and speed. Therefore, you can see that no many top players were using T25 series for championship games. The most common used was T05, T64 and T80. If you still attempt to master your table tennis skills I suggest you should consider T05 or T05 FX instead. In conclusion T25 FX is meant for attacking game. Most Chinese players won't use Tenergy series for the forehand because Tenergy was not tacky enough and not good enough to produce "killing" spins. Most top Chinese players were still using DHS Harricane for forehand and Tenergy for backhand. Please don't get me wrong those Harricane you can't get it from the retail shop however the Provincial version with blue sponge (make sure you buy a genuine version) is more than enough for amarteur. This combination gives you the advantage to play attacking game where you still can have control in mind.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 2It was not the best among all Harricane series but with this price tag it does its job well and it is very much dependent on what blade you're using with it. It is tacky it generates enough of spin when you hit hard, speed is great especially when you play attacking game it generates a lot of spins thru the looping. Control is not what you should emphasize on this rubber as it is meant for attacking game or with some defense but you should pair it with a softer rubber on the backhand to allow you to block and to provide you with some defensive play as in most games not all the time you take the lead in attacking but your opponent may counter attack as well. Blocking from mid to far of table is great but when close to table you need to position your blade well in order to return ball with attacking power otherwise most of the time you will be out of control. Actually, the Harricane with blue sponge is a lot more better than any Harricane that with orange sponge. As long as it is affordable go for the sponge rubber version.

Review of Donic Akkadi TaichiThis rubber meant for you to hit harder where I suggest to put it on backhand and when you hit hard it can generate sufficient speed and spins to kill the opponent but looping from far of table may not be so ideal unless you counter attack by returning the ball with more strength. I tried to out in on forehand certainly not as good as other rubbers such as Harricane, Darker V, tenergy, etc. Control is identical where it does its job well but no surprises. Using it to counter attack on backhand was great I like the smashing sound as it shows that it has the power to kill but as I said it only does its job well from mid to near table only.

Review of Sanwei TargetI've tried the Sanwei Target Provincial rubber on several blades and found that it just can suit to any blades be it carbon or without carbon blade but one thing you have to understand that it does not give you extra power where you need to generate the extra power by hitting it harder. The tacky surface gives better looping and spinning power and when you hit hard to smash it can produce strong spin to kill the opponent too don't be fooled by the cheap price tag where it gives you more value than it is supposed to be. I tried it on the backhand as well, the blacking near table was good however when far from table you need to use your skill and strength to return the ball as it is lacking of bouncing speed when far from table so I suggest if you put on your backhand you should use it for attacking as well. By the way, it is a good rubber no regret to buy it. Value for money and suitable for training purposes.
