Review of Andro Hexer DuroAfter playing with Mark V on my FH for many years and recently trying some different rubbers I have settled on Hexer Duro. Despite it being my first real tensor type rubber I found it quite easy to adjust due to Hexer Duro having very good control in all strokes. Duro also has some quite similar all-round properties to Mark V which suits my game style as well as similar (medium) sponge hardness. I think it is a superbly balanced rubber with regard to speed/spin/control and I will stick with it for the foreseeable future.

Review of Armstrong SH-ISoft, grippy (not tacky) top sheet on medium sponge provides very nice feeling with lots of spin and control. Excellent for looping. Blocks like a dream.

Review of Dr. Neubauer DominationExcellent all-round rubber with medium speed, high spin and high control. I use on FH in 1.8 on an OFF- all wood blade which provides a good balance between the high control necessary for consistent chopping whilst having sufficient speed and spin for topspin strokes. Ideal for a 50/50 balance between backspin/topspin. Choose 1.5 if you are more of a chopper. There are better rubbers for primarily aggressive attacking styles.

Review of Nittaku Renanos HoldWhat Frogger said. I'll just add that I like its linearity - you get what you give with no unwanted catapult on short strokes that can often be the case with soft to medium tensors. I bought it in 1.8mm. Given the excellent control I'll probably get it in 2.0 if I replace it. A bit pricey but the quality is very good.

Review of SpinLord TigerThe apparent price/quality ratio of this rubber has prompted me to try other Spinlord products. I agree that the performance of Tiger is quite similar to the older classics. Medium fast with good spin and control. A value for money substitute for Mark V, Sriver etc with perhaps a slightly harder sponge. It may well be just as durable, but only time will tell.

Review of SpinLord Marder IITried 1.8mm on my forehand. Very spinny with plenty of control in all shots. Feels like a faster version of Tackiness Chop. Very nice to chop with as well as controlled topspin. Advanced loopers would need a faster rubber but this is perfect for a controlled all-round spin focused game. Good quality rubber and very reasonably priced.

Review of Xiom Vega IntroI've been trying this in 2.0mm on my FH. It is a medium hard rubber that does everything well. I especially enjoy chopping with it. My chops and pushes are very controlled and stay very low. Decent speed and spin is achievable when you fully engage the sponge in looping and hitting though only marginally more than the popular non-tensor classics like Mark V & Sriver. It is a good inexpensive all round alternative for those who don't like soft sponges and don't want the additional catapult of the higher energy tensors. Since it is very controllable I think 2.0mm or Max thickness will suit most players.
