Review of Andro Hexer GripQuite easy to play with in an all-around game. 45 degrees sponge is a bit soft on hard hit for me. Good control since it is only slightly tensored. Speed is there if needed. Spin is decent. It is adequate for most of the basic strokes.

Review of Andro Rasanter R37The sponge is too soft and creates variations on placement, especially on harder hits. Tensioned topsheet also makes it slightly harder to be accurate. It does allow a relatively longer dwell time to perform shots though. It is light, which is a big plus if you want to lower your setup weight.

Review of Butterfly Dignics 05I use it on my backhand. It works very well in flicks and countertop spins. Pushes are ok. It takes me some time to get used to the high throw angle in order to keep pushes short. Active blocks are easier than passive blocks. I have better results putting it on inner force type of blades with limba top, giving me more dwell to maximize the rubber's spin potential.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05Fast and spinny. Easy to activate huge spins. Good for looping, flicking, pushing with heavy underspin. Needs to be careful in blocking and hitting since it is reactive. Overall it maintains its properties for a long time even though it is expensive.

Review of Butterfly Dignics 80It is closer to Tenergy 05 than Dignics 05 in terms of the combined hardness of the rubber and sponge. I found it more controllable than both, especially for blocking and punch shots from the backhand. The low arc and long trajectory create problems for my opponents as balls land near the white line. Other than lacking a bit of spins, it is almost perfect for me. I use it on Viscaria.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3 Provincial (Orange Sponge)More lively sponge. Good for full-body Chinese-style forehand loops. Serves can be short and spinny. Brush loops are good too. It is physically demanding to use it to its full potential.

Review of DHS Gold Arc 8I have played two 50 and one 47.5 degrees. Needless to say, 50 is harder and the trajectory is a bit flatter. I like 47.5 better since a softer sponge gives me more time to spin. It excels in forehand mid-distance looping, where I can fully engage the sponge to get maximum speed and spin out of it. Quite stable in blocking. Need more attention in short play and close to table hits.

Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3After trying three 39 degrees, 2.15mm H3Ns on four different blades, I feel this is not for me. The tackiness wears down quickly and the factory-tuned sponge hardened after two weeks. I tried boosting them but it only brings back part of its original performance. It is good for training since it is relatively inexpensive. Close to the table plays are good.

Review of Friendship/729 Battle III went through three sheets, all black. Two of them are 45-degree and one 47-degree hardness. The sponge is more lively than Hurricane 3 Neo (H3N). The top sheet feels softer and lets you wrap the ball better when looping. It plays like a dream when new. After 2 weeks when the tackiness on the sweet spot is worn out, it can be inconsistent depending on where the ball contacts the rubber. I feel it is more suitable for the forehand. They weigh 48g after cut which is comparable to H3N. Overall, it plays better than H3N but it is less durable.

Review of Sanwei Target NationalIt is a very stable rubber! I have used it on Viscaria and Flextra. It fits both carbon and all wood blades well. Shots are easy to land, well-paced amid a bit less spinny than Hurricane 3 Neo (H3N). The only drawback is that it is heavy! It comes in at 53g after cut which limits the choice of my backhand rubber. Otherwise, I prefer this rubber over H3N because of its speed and stability.

Review of Xiom Vega AsiaIt is suitable for a speed-based game. Shots are direct and feeling is crisp. Longer pimple structure wobbles a bit. But once I get used to it, punch shots and flat hits are powerful. It is not that heavy. Spins are ok, making it good for defensive blocks too.
