Review of Donic Akkadi TaichiFor 27$ it is a very good rubber with many gears, and has excellent control. I use 1.8mm with an off++ 7Layer blade (DHS PG7) on Forehand. In this combo it is good for defending and more than enough to deliver the kill shot too. It has lost most of its tackiness in 40-50 hrs of play, but is still a bit tacky and can poduce a decent amount of spin. Great for blocking and short game.Jun 04, 2014

Friendship/729 Focus 1

Review of Friendship/729 Focus 1We put this rubber on both sides of a Joola Carbon Pro preassembled racket of a friend of mine (the racket originally came w. 4you rubbers) There was an immediate improvement in his game. His pushes came back just shaving the net like never before his blocking became very controlled. I had to try it myself. Control is amazing, spin is very good, a bit slow but very good rubber indeed.Mar 17, 2013

JOOLA Mambo H

Review of JOOLA Mambo HVery- very good control, especially when hitting through spin. A very good “Do it all - place the ball where I want†rubber without much effort.Excellent for blocking, and short game, obviously sacrifices speed. I use it in 1.8 maybe that’s why I can’t engage the rubber that much when trying to generate curvy loops, they end up straighter and less spinny. ( For e.g DHS NEO Skyline 2 TG2 is an amazing looper’s rubber ) Or is it the new poly ball that I cannot loop well anymore? As I can recall it, it is like a modern Mark V but better. Sanwei T88-III

Review of Sanwei T88-IIII have borrowed My friend€™s Donic Baum Senso (pretty fast) racket with a new T-3 on BH and a Gears on FH. He wanted to tame his racket on the BH side with this rubber. He has played about 15 hrs with it, and we can say it is unsuitable for his closed European style. Also this rubber is very slow. I have played 5-6 hours with it. It has very nice looping curve from close to table, and easy to defend with. For pushing and serving one can generate loads of spin, but the throw angle is not very consistent. Very easy to loop with but since those loops are so slow they just keep coming back. We tried to play FH with it as well, but No spin smashes are very hard to control. For slowing down a fast racket Friendship Focus One is way better. A little bit faster, spin is about the same if not more, but so much more control. Feb 22, 2013
