Review of Xiom TauI went to Thailand and went to a TT shop. They had a few promotions and I bought the Xiom Tau without any knowledge of what it is. It came paired with a Nittaku Flyatt Hard. I am not a pro, so I just trusted the shop's selection for a pair. I was far from knowing that these are both FH rubbers, with totally opposite feel. So, I am using the Xiom Tau as FH and the Nittaku Flyatt for BH.
Initially, the Tau seemed too hard and thick, it just seemed like a spinny brick. After a couple of hours I adapted to this rubber style and now I am doing deadly topspins with it. The sound is incredible, it will make that crack sound easily even when doing counterspins. Now, I've fallen in love with this rubber and just want to play more and more. Btw, I am using it with a Stiga Classic Allround NCT. Now, I just need a decent BH rubber to go with it.
