Andro Impuls Powersponge

Review of Andro Impuls PowerspongeThis is one of the most controllable inverted rubber I have played with so far. I use it on the FH of an All+ custom blade. It has almost as much speed as my former Joola Max 450 (with 2.0 mm sponge) but more control. I used it for the second time on Wednesday, during a tournament, when it helped me administer a clear 2-0 to a guy who used to beat me regularly. He has an anti-spin on on side and a sandwich on the other. Both rubbers create serious problems to most of his opponents, as they did to me when I had Joola Maxx on my FH. Not anymore. I can hit all the balls as if they come from a normal inverted rubber.May 21, 2018

Friendship/729 Focus 3 Snipe
Review of Friendship/729 Focus 3 SnipeBy far the best rubber you can buy for 10 USD. As a matter of fact, it worked even better than Palio Thor's on my Andro Temper Tech All+ blade.Good speed, enough spin, excellent control, great at winning points. Keeping the ball close to the net with Snipe 3 is as easy as it can get. Globe 999 National is a great match for my Xi Enting X 969 blade, so I begin to doubt it is worth paying more than 15 USD for a rubber. Thumbs up for Friendship! This is definitely a rubber worth buying if you find the right blade for it. Mar 25, 2012

Friendship/729 Cream Transcend
Review of Friendship/729 Cream TranscendI decided to buy it after reading so many positive reviews on this page. Unfortunately, I found nothing impressive at this rubber; it is clearly overrated. Unless you put it on a very slow blade (def), it is difficult to return balls with under-spin (the return tends to go up and you get punished for that), speed is ok on hard Off- and Off blades, but way too low on soft, slower blades, while spin is average.Globe999 National and Focus 3 Snipe are far better choices and almost as inexpensive. I wonder how many of the guys who reviewed it have ever used high quality rubbers like Palio Thors or Donic Acuda. Most of them must have only played with inexpensive Chinese stuff. You get what you pay for and Cream Transcend sells for 8 USD on eacheng. This is exactly how much it is worth. Average in everything... I would rather pay 15 USD for a Globe 999 National. That would be money well spent. Jun 02, 2012

Gambler Reflectoid
Review of Gambler ReflectoidMC's comments make no sense to me. My rubber has a really soft sponge. Maybe Gambler has consistency issues with their rubbers.I am using mine on an offensive blade (XiEnting Flying Dragon) on the FH. It works great both for attack and defense. Easy to loop, spin, and smash with it. I can put most balls on the table without much effort. I don't even have to hit really hard to win points. To my great surprise, the blade-rubber combination is in the All+ speed range. This might have to do with the soft sponge, which doesn't catapult the ball until it reaches the blade. If you play a modern, aggressive game, pair it with a hard, offensive blade like mine. The combination seems excellent. Just one serious downside for me: it's almost impossible to return really fast loops. The ball just falls dead, a few centimeters in front of the bat. Fortunately, only top players master such strokes. Reflectoid is suited to a close to the table game. Mid and long distance play seems to suffer a bit. Great value for the money. I don't think I can find a more suitable rubber for the Flying Dragon blade. Dec 24, 2011

Globe 999 National

Review of Globe 999 NationalWorking great as a FH rubber with Xi Enting X969 (arylate-carbon). Good spin, excellent control, more than enough speed with my Off+ blade. This combination is among the best I have tried, some of the previous ones being far more expensive. Globe has better control and is far more linear than Palio Thors, for example. I warmly recommend it to any price sensitive player looking for an excellent product. Palio Macro Era

Review of Palio Macro EraThis is one of the best rubbers I've played with. Currently using it on the BH, but have just ordered one for the FH too. At 28 USD it's really affordable. The rubber is great for aggressive attackers, but it's also an excellent defensive weapon. Great for looping too. Thumbs up for MacroEra. It's really worth the money. Palio Thors

Review of Palio ThorsOne of the best rubbers I have tried. Works equally well on the BH and FH.I agree with Mazarley that it feels very much like SpinArt. It only has one minor drawback. If you remove the rubber from the blade the sponge tends to break, so better not do it. Before realizing the danger, two of mine did this, one beyond recovery. The last one I got doesn't seem to have this problem. Dec 31, 2011

Yinhe Sun

Review of Yinhe SunThis is a very good BH rubber for its price (13 USD on http://ttnpp.com). It has decent speed and spin and a medium throw angle. Pushing doesn't work great but this might be from the blade. So far, Galaxy Sun has been the best Chinese rubber I have played with. Dec 13, 2011
