Adidas P7
Review of Adidas P7I got this rubber through my friend from US. It it not available in India. I had it pasted on my Joola Rosskopf Emotion carbon, and in my backhand i have Xiom Vega Europe. This is by far the most spinniest and fastest rubber i have used on FH.The spin on serves are not that high, but side spin loops have excellent spin. Apart from spining, the ball swings also. My opponents have touch time judging the ball. I used to be No 3 in my TT club, but i have become No 2 now coz of this rubber. My friend who has Sigma 2 (IIRC) glued to Galaxy T11+ which is the fastest i have ever played, but uncontrollable. The P7 is much controllable, but faster too. The high throw property is very much helpful for flat hitting and top spin smashes. It is really amazing that the ball don't pop up while chopping the underspin balls. I could get the ball just above the nets, or even scratching the net. I tried using P7 on my backhand, but i felt Vega europe is much faster. I shifted from Tibhar Genius sound to P7, and i am much satisfied. It doesn't mean Genius sound is not good, but P7 is really good. But P7 is slightly heavier which i don't like. Overall a very nice rubber, but Adidas is not capitilizing it's brand name in the TT rubber market. Hope they take this as feedback and so something to have the P7 easily available in India. Butterfly Tackifire Special-Soft

Review of Butterfly Tackifire Special-SoftA nice rubber which is a perfect trade off between the speed and control+spin. I use this on my FH, and Flextra on my BH on Joola Rosskopf emotion carbon. Pretty good control, tho smashes are returned by opponents. Looping is a breeze (Tho I relie mostly on the smashes, and started learning looping with this rubber). Still need to perfect my loops as the balls are returned by opponents, but as a lob. So takes mostly 2 strokes to finish. It is slightly heavier than Flextra and so sometimes i feel more drag on FH. It would be really good if BTY can make this as light as flextra. Heaviness is the reason why i went for flextra on the BH. Else i would have gone with Tackifire Soft itself. Thanks to BTY.Aug 23, 2013

Donic Acuda S2

Review of Donic Acuda S2Excellent rubber for FH. I used it on my FH with Joola Rosskopf emotion carbon blade, with Mark V on BH. It gives excellent control on the blade. Lifting the ball (flick on FH) is very easy. May be coz the ball stick to the rubber. The spin that it could create while service is also good, but not too good to my expectation, or i am not sure if i am still not practiced with it much. FH blocks and very controllable. I could get the ball in on very fiercy shots of opponents (provided i get the angle correctly). I was earlier using Joola Exp-2 rubber in which i miss a lot. Either ball would hit the net, or travel out side. The FH chops are mostly controllable, but still i feel it is not as controllable like mark V which i used on FH long time back. Overall, i am much satisfied with it. Thanks GaneshOct 10, 2012

JOOLA Smart

Review of JOOLA SmartNot a good rubber at all. I wasted my money on this (Rs 650 = ~$10). It neither has speed, not spin, and too much heavy. The cut rubber on my Rossi emotion blade came to 55grams. I played with it for just a day before going to mambo HOct 18, 2013

Tibhar Genius Sound
Review of Tibhar Genius SoundThis is my review after using it for 3 years. I have Andro tempertech all+, and i have Genius sound on both sides. Excellent for top spins, but loops don't generate that much spin. Good for smashes also. Push also goes good, but not as good as tackey rubbers. Earlier i had Galaxy Moonpro on my BH. Since that wears out soon, i changed to Genius itself on the BH too. A slight change which i did on the BH helped in the transition. Just that we need to allow the ball to sink into the sponge and generate the swing. Not a fast rubber, or may be i feel so coz i have it on wooden blade. May be it is more speedy on carbon. It is extremely good on the control part. Incomming spin bites it a bit, but more we play with this rubber, out games gets adjusted with it. A very forgiving rubber indeed. I would recommend it to medium level players. Thanks Ganesh Oct 10, 2016

Xiom Vega Europe
Review of Xiom Vega EuropeI started using a week back on my Joola Rossi emotion (carbon). I shifted from Mambo H to this one, and i could see visible difference in the spin and speed. My opponents says that the ball now has more kick, and also swings. I never changed my style tho. The throw angle is perfect for chopping, but when trying to loop the ball comming with underspin, i do have problem. But may be it is my techniq issue. It suits all more for smashes and chops. Looping is also easier on no-spin or top spin balls, but slightly difficult on the underspins. I have P7 on my FH and accidentally i ended up piercing the topsheet as it scratched against one of the corners of the table. So, while replacing, i will go with this one. IT is 1/2 the price of P7, and very spinny and speedy too. This is the best BH rubber i used (Mambo H, Genius sound, Tackifire special). Oct 18, 2013
