Review of 999 Super 999TVery very sticky, but for some reason the spin I generate with this one is not too dangerous - backspin is quite good, topspin not too good, might have to adjust my technique. Got a really low throw angle when shooting straight. Makes a weird high click noise when brushing or hitting the (celluloid) ball hard. Sounds almost like when you tread on a ball ;-)
Imho it's slower than Mark V (1.8 sponge), just for the record.
The great thing about this rubber is that I can lift practically each and every Ball from way beyond table level! Overall I really like this rubber.
Next time I mount this beauty I'll use two layers of revolution no 3 glue on the rubber to add a wee bit of liveliness.
Edit: after playing about 20 hours it's still sticky but somehow lost a bit of its grip. Starts to let a few topspins slip through. Don't understand this behaviour, but still like this rubber lots.

Review of Armstrong Hikari SR 7I played this rubber (Armstrong Hikari SR7 55°) in 2.1 on my BH. This rubber has a really hard sponge but a soft top sheet.It has no catapult at all and hence makes it easy to play short (and for me quite often too short…). It's quite easy to play topspins, but hard to lift heavy backspin with normal backspin strokes. It's got a lot of control, but the throw angle is a bit low. It's hard for me to create lots of backspin. It's also really slow, even on an off- blade. It's just not dangerous at all, it's a rubber for playing it safe and blocking is extraordinarily good. On the other hand you can play quite actively and the ball won't go over the table, that's the good side.
I have to revise my opinion quite a bit: I now play it on an Andro Temper Tech All+ and it works really well. In the beginning it was quite hard but now it got a wee bit softer and I can indeed create quite a bit of spin (at least most of my opponents tell me so). It's not as slow as it was and becomes livelier as I keep playing it, however, blocking and hitting still works like a charm. Now it's a keeper for at least the rest of the season.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05 FXI'm really impressed by this rubber, playing it in 1.7 mm/FH. It's fast (maybe a bit too fast for me, tbh) but easily controllable. I'd say its base speed is not very high but when you hit harder it gets really speedy, especially away from the table. The amount of spin I can generate with it is tremendous, got no other rubber like this. It's absolutely not for beginners, though, you have to have your angles and movements right. I find it quite hard to lift backspin shots. I'll keep this rubber in mind for when I play better.

Review of Butterfly Tenergy 05It's easier to play than I thought. I play it in 1.7 on my FH on a kevlar blade. It's way livelier than the T05FX and still controllable. The amount of spin I can create is just brutal, while it's still not really reactive to incoming spin. I like it on my Donic Kevplay, it's a great fit and I can happily say I found the perfect match for that blade.

Review of DHS Hurricane 3-50I found this rubber to be slower than Mark V. Pretty tacky but low trajectory makes it hard to lift backspin over the net. I also can't create much spin with it. Most of my shots aren't really dangerous anymore compared to my previous BH rubber Tibhar Aurus Sound 1.7 (which I had to get rid of as it had too much catapult for me). Basically the DHS would be the right rubber for me, it's just not spinny enough and the trajectory a bit too flat for my playing style. All in all a very controlled allround rubber.

Review of Nittaku FactiveI've been playing this rubber on my backhand for half a year now and can easily say it's the most controlled rubber for allround/off play I ever had the chance to play. It does everything really well, backspin, topspin, blocks. It's rather insensitive to incoming spin. The only drawback is that it lacks a bit of power when you're away from the table. When I played it on my forehand (just for fun and to check it out) I was really impressed by its ability to neutralize incoming topspin and I could almost shoot powerspins from every angle. It plays different and really grabs the ball - you'll understand what I mean when you play it.

Review of Tibhar Evolution EL-SHas quite a bit of catapult that kicks in rather late - even in 1.8. Feels quirky on my blades, was well worth a try but doesn't suit me - I'm too much of an ambitioned amateur for this one.

Review of Victas VS > 402 LimberGood spin, a bit too fast for me, though. Haven't found the right blade for it, yet. For comparison: the 1.8 mm 402 Limber is has way more catapult and is also faster than an Tibhar Aurus Sound 1.9 mm.
One thing really annoys me about this rubber: it's clicking really loud. In fact it's so loud that it keeps distracting me. Other than that it's a really good rubber with exceptional control and relatively low spin sensibility in contrast to the big amount of spin it can generate.

Review of Victas VS > 401This rubber is somewhat strange. It's great for chopping and blocking, but also for topspins where I could create so much spin that almost none of my colleagues could block them. Also when pulling hard topspins the catapult sets in quite a bit. Flat hits work like a charm, too. Only when it comes to normal counter play it feels somehow dead or lifeless. Comes alive in all other situations (especially with the unexpected catapult with topspins) but also makes my kevlar enforced blade vibrate. How can that be? I don't understand this. Also played it on a Nittaku Septear, but it doesn't fit on that one, plays wonky and not dangerous at all. Feels even weirder. So I guess it's better to pair this rubber with a really stiff blade.
Sitting on the fence with this rubber, just can't decide which side to fall to.
Edit: took it off my Kevplay, took off the old glue and glued it anew - and now it works like a charm. seems like it wasn't properly glued before. What a beauty to play :-)
Edit II: put it on my Andro Temper Tech All+ - they just don't pair well. Feels dead again.
Edit III: put it on my Soulspin Roots 5: all fine, but still somehow doesn't match my playing for some reason. We're not going to be friends, 401 and I. Got used to the hardness and now it doesn't feel that slow anymore.
