Review of Andro Hexer+Great if you're looking for a med/soft sponge, low/med throw angle rubber that has good speed to it. Throw angle very slightly lower than Xiom Vega Europe, also very slightly firmer rubber and definitely faster - likely due to slightly heavier sponge. Spin is similar to XVE. Agree with user "adrenalinac" that it would be good for blocks, (pushes), chops etc due to throw angle. Also agree with user "jbgwtf" and "Anonymous" that the throw angle is low-ish, hence good for the above features. Probably not the best for looping heavy back spin, but everything is acceptable. I preferred the throw angle of regular Hexer, but preferred softer sponge feel and faster speed of Hexer+... Used Hexer+ on BH of Tibhar Stratus PW.

Review of Andro Rasanter V42The rubber Adam Bobrow (in 2019) chooses to use on both wings. I tried it on my Nittaku Acoustic and Andro Wanokiwami AO OFF. Spin similar to Vega Europe with a very slightly lower throw angle, but V42 is faster and with a thicker sponge. Lifting heavy backspin I'd prefer higher throw, but if you're after a lower/medium throw angle, decent control, med/soft sponge with good speed, then it's a solid choice. Possibly plays a bit like Hexer+ but with a thicker sponge and thinner top sheet - more zing. However it's been a few years since I've used Hexer+, and on a different blade... I agree with 'Alvinspin' review about it being enjoyable for smashes, and any form of well struck top spin counters, ideally above the table as there isn't much in the way of net clearance for below table loops. Top sheet is of very high quality and likely harder than say a Hexer+ top sheet, so durability shouldn't be an issue, while sponge seems solid enough for it's duro of 42 degrees.

Review of Andro Rasanter R42Good balance of characteristics, and okay for controlled offensive play. Spin and speed are more than enough for most players, although doesn't have the super top end speed of harder sponge alternatives. Sponge is medium, with a hint of springy softness to it. Throw angle between Vega Europe and Vega Pro, with speed similar to Vega Europe. Or, could be considered a rough combination of Rakza 7 and Rakza 7 Soft, if they were combined, but slightly closer to standard R7. Quite 'springy' in new ULTRAMAX thickness, but that's expected for most tensor MAX sponge options. If more control is desired, just go thinner sponge. I'm using MAX on the Nittaku S-5, and it works well. I've noticed the topsheet of these rubbers feels harder than some older Euro tensors like R7S or XVE, either because it actually is a harder topsheet, or the pip structure is wider. Either way I'm not keen on that feeling and would prefer say Evo FX-P, if looking for a soft/medium rubber with medium throw angle.

Review of Andro Rasanter R37Slightly faster than Rakza 7 Soft, with a slightly softer sponge. Plays better (more ping) than R7S due to it's thicker sponge IMO. Obviously it's very soft, so don't buy expecting 'medium' soft. Speed is a bit slower than XIOM Vega Europe, and with higher throw angle than the XVE. The topsheet itself feels harder (or maybe just wider pip structure) than say XVE, and is very high quality, which makes for a fairly durable rubber, not factoring in the softer sponge underneath. However, I've decided i don't like harder (or wider pip) feeling topsheets. If high control and/or technique tweaking is something you desire, it's quite nice, providing you don't mind the topsheet. Also great for developing touch/feeling on serves, over the table play and open-ups. But remember it's soft, and it will bottom out if you're hitting the ball with any force on either wing. When moving further from the table, it does begin to suffer from being too soft and a harder sponge would be helpful to avoid bottoming out.

Review of Butterfly FlextraAs part of my first pre-made setup with BTY Primorac Off- this worked well back in 2006. Paired with the Primorac Off- blade this rubber had great control. Spin was acceptable, but speed is in line with the ratings - very slow. It's great if you're looking for something that's low-ish throw, light, some spin (potentially with thin sponge) and can be used fairly defensively. As per existing ratings/reviews it IS "basic", "for beginners" and "new players". Alternatively, it would suit someone looking for a (middle of the road) cheap and defensive/AR Butterfly rubber. I also agree with kiantat's comments that it could work well as a slow RPB due to it's softness/lightness.

Review of Butterfly Tackifire C SoftUsed on Donic Dotec AR Waldner blade. Spin and control are it's features. It is slow as mentioned by others. Could also work well to keep weight down with thin sponge on a RPB blade as it's soft with good spin capacity.

Review of Donic Quattro FormulaPaired with Donic Dotec Walder AR blade. Didn't seem to do anything particularly well, or better than many other rubbers available on the market now (2015). The high throw, soft sponge and low control combination didn't work well together. Had the control been higher this rubber would make a lot more sense, however with the low control (I agree with the ratings) I found it doing nothing particularly well, or better than another rubber could for the same price. It did have a noticeably higher throw than a standard Hexer or Vega Europe/Vega Pro etc, but WITHOUT the control, spin or speed of them. Throw angle would be slightly lower than T05 though. There are many rubbers with better combinations of control and spin, control and speed, speed and throw etc etc. Unless the Dotec AR was a poor blade/rubber combination, the Community ratings tell the story. Eg, Durability 5.5 /10, Gears 5/10 etc. Very Average.

Review of Tibhar Evolution FX-PCurrently using/testing this on a few all wood blades, including the Tibhar Lebesson blade. Would rate speed as 8.8. This is a really nice medium/soft controlled rubber at 40° hardness. It's slightly on the softer side of medium/soft, with good speed, being between R37 and R42 (say 8.8), or close to Vega Europe. This has become my new favorite 'FX' rubber, with high enough throw angle for most situations, and great control, providing you're familiar with a bit of Tensor catapult effect. Spin is good on well struck loops, but obviously not quite as extreme as the 'S' versions of the evolution series. Close to Rakza 7 Soft, but faster, and feels very slightly harder and dwellier, so to speak.

Review of Tibhar Evolution FX-SUsing MAX sponge on backhand (switched to FH since initial writing) of XIOM Offensive S. Speed is only a touch slower than FX-P, call it 8.7. And, just a touch more spin than FX-P. The extra hardness is immediately noticeable when compared to FX-P or other medium/soft rubbers. Almost feels akin to Rasanter R42 in hardness, which isn't surprising as they both have 42°~ sponges. Click sound is prominent, as it is with FX-P and some other soft Tensors. I perceive control as similarly high (but different) to say the FX-P or say a Rakza 7 soft. Rubber bites a little better than FX-P, but like the FX-P can slip a bit on very light contact. I'm getting good spin in short game and serves, which continues back from the table too, although good contact is still required from any distance to get the most from it. Obviously one can't rely on tackiness for spin when only applying gentle touch. With good contact, the user is rewarded with quality spin though. I also question the durability of this rubber as someone else did, however would just recommend using good tape and not hitting the edges. If you're deciding between FX-P and FX-S, then decide based on whether you want power, or mechanical spin with a slightly harder sponge. For slightly greater mechanical spin with an equally slightly harder sponge, go with the FX-S. Otherwise, going with the FX-P is a safe bet. I'm using both, and it's just about personal preference.

Review of Tibhar Evolution EL-PTested on forehand of my XIOM Offensive S in MAX sponge. Plays like a slightly softer version of Vega Pro, or possibly like T05-FX but with greater control. Really nice rubber that definitely sits perfectly between FX-P and MX-P. Good control, fast, with no lack of spin. I had no issues in short game, or further back from the table, however I wouldn't recommend for anyone looking to hone technique that's just starting out.

Review of Xiom Vega EuropeUsed on Joola Rossi Emotion, Joola MC1 and Tibhar Stratus PW. Extremely well balanced rubber. Great control, with soft sponge and good feel. With only low/medium throw angle looping heavy backspin may require more effort than some rubbers with higher throw angles. It's speed is more than adequate and spin is enough for most applications. If you're looking for hard, fast, high throw rubber (eg Tenergy 05) then XVE is a terrible idea. HOWEVER, if you're looking for a 'do it all', relatively soft and very well balanced rubber, it's exceptional.

Review of Xiom Vega Euro DFPlays somewhat like a cross between Rakza 7 Soft and Rasanter R37, however I'd prefer R37 if looking for a soft rubber. VE-DF is soft, as mentioned by other users, with good control for basic shots. It has that usual Tensor 'ping' to it, and has more speed than others have attributed to it, however it's certainly not as fast as the regular XVE, which is rated at 8.9. I'd say the speed is very similar to R7S, rated at 8.6~, while the throw angle is similar to Rasanter R37. My scores of '10' were purely to bring the averages up from 8.3 to 8.5, which is more accurate relative to other soft rubbers I've played with. Good for developing basic shots, but may lack 'gears' for players with a more developed game. Rubber has a high quality and grippy topsheet which means it should be NO LESS durable than standard XVE. I generally agree with speed/spin/control numbers from user 'tipoman'.

Review of Yasaka Rakza 7 SoftRubber is slower than the Xiom Vega Europe and Hexer+ I've tried on this blade. So would not say it's "fast" as others have said here. Throw angle is very slightly higher than both, with similar control to Vega Europe. Makes up for lack of speed with higher spin, which is nice. Most players would probably like it on their BH, but if you want to improve technique it's great for FH also. Has a great sound with many blades due to it's softness. Reminds me of my first setup (in 2006) Primorac OFF- with BTY Flextra both sides, although that was way slower than TSPW with YR7S both sides.
