Stag Peter Karlsson

Review of Stag Peter KarlssonI have been using Stag Peter Karlsson Gen 2(max) for about a year on my FH mostly with Stag Magnum blade. The rubber is great for topspin, looping and specially smashing. It has great control and feel, you can block fast topspin/smash with a fast blade. I tried it on my back hand for sometime and was surprised to see how good it is for backhand flicks as it provides great grip and control. I like to push deep with heavy backspin where I faced trouble with this rubber. I get good mount of spin but the ball jumps very high(may be because I am using max thickness). This is actually a cheaper and slower alternate for Butterfly Tenergy. I ll recommend this rubber to all the intermediate players who want good control over their forehand and start with 1.8 thickness first if using a fast blade.Apr 22, 2019

Stiga Boost TS

Review of Stiga Boost TSThis rubber can surprise with the type of blade you are using with it. It gets extremely very fast with fast blades. I have got best loops with this rubber as the type of spin it produces is much more than Boost TX on Hinoki Blade. This rubber gets a good grip on the ball and good for both FH and BH. I think it is important to make sure you clean your rubber and put a tacky protective sheet( I used Nittaku) so that rubber does not looses its tackiness that help to develop that grip. One major problem with this rubber is when you take it off from your blade then chances are that you ll end up damaging the rubber because of super soft sponge. The throw angle of this rubber is much higher than Boost TX so you need to adjust your bat's angle to make sure that ball stays close to net.Apr 23, 2019
