Review of DHS Hurricane 8-80Using H8-80 soft on both sidesI agree! "H8-80 is a hybrid closer to hard (chinese) rubbers, just up a notch faster than a typical Chinese rubber. It maintains all the other characteristics of a Chinese rubber, excellent short game, spiny loops, spiny serves. Just 10% faster (I would say: 10 to 15% faster on soft shots, same speed on power shots). But that's enough to make my life a lot easier when opening up and countering. It is easier to increase the dwell time. Even flat hits or smashing are possible and a lot easier compared to H3 Neo (blocks are great too, but low throw angle doesnt helps me on my BH). The fans of DHS forehand rubbers should definitely give it a try. I think it is the best DHS rubber so far." Yes, I agree: one of the best DHS ever! I have been using Rakza Z in BH and Victas TDE in FH - I love them, I still like them a lot, but they probably last less and are more expensive. With H8-80 I am more confident hitting/looping balls that are sliced: the high stickiness (which stays and doesn't go away fast) bites the ball and turns the spin. My only issue at the moment is that when I block balls with BH they often end up in the net - Rakza Z is better for me to block. But the final speed of the ball with H-8-80 is enormous, the shots are hurtful and deadly, and the serves have a lot of sping!. Mar 19, 2022 | |||||||||||||||||||||

Review of DHS PF4-50For this price you cant find nothing better: very good control for learning the shots, good speed, very nice spin. Way better than previous PF4 rubbers! Review of Nittaku Hurricane Pro III Turbo OrangeI am used to chinese rubbers, H3 Neo, Jupiter 2, Big Dipper, Hurricane 8...My Jupiter 2 was a bit old and I decided to try many rubbers for forehand on my Yinhe V-14 Pro: Sieger Pk50 (too fast and bouncy for my FH), Nittaku H3 Pro turbo blue sponge (way too hard and heavy for me...), then H8 but no... So then I was tired of testing rubbers and I glued the Nittaku Hurricane pro 3 turbo orange (I had my doubts due to the failed experiment with the blue version.): but it was just perfect to me, nice in all aspects, I feel I can do anything with a good training so I will stick with it for some months and maybe some years. Review of Nittaku Hurricane Pro III Turbo BlueTried it on Yinhe V-14 Pro blade, Nittaku Fastarc G1 on the BH. (197 gr! too heavy for me)I agree with lazylegs. It is an amazing rubber for PRO players... if you like chinese rubbers and use to play with H3 Neo comercial, Yinhe Jupiter II, Big Dipper and so on, you can try this, but keep in mind this is way heavier: 59 gr, and way harder! so you will need a very good technique, being fit and many weeks to get use to it. Review of Nittaku Sieger PK50Nothing can be perfect, but after 10 years of trying rubbers I have found my rubber for the BH, and it is perfect. I bought it thinking about putting it in the FH of my Yinhe V-14 Pro (ALC), but I am used to really Chinese rubbers like H3 Neo, Jupiter II, Big Dipper and things like that. I don't like European hybrids like the Tibhar K1 because they end up producing a lot of bounce and the stickiness is not ideal. So I bought the Nittaku Sieger PK50 with some mistrust, thinking of putting it in the FH, I played with it a bit, it is not as hard as they say, I liked it but many balls went far from the table and the throw angle was very high for my taste ... I thought and thought for days what to do and came to the conclusion that this cute black rubber must go on my backhand! I tried it and I was right: never in my life could I execute the BH top with such ease, the shots are killers, deep and with a great rotation effect, all inside the table. The rest of the shots are good too: slice, block, serves: it can help you do everything right! I highly recommend it.
