Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3The topsheet is tacky, thick and has low pips, which makes it for better spin on touch shots (serve, push), and loads spin again best in high power shots. I like other rubber better to flick but i will try, i think there a learning curve.
I got a 37 deg sponge, black thick topsheet, non porous topsheet, shiny and flat. It's surprisingly medium soft sponge does not feel so soft under this top, but it makes it slow, i think it's probably the hardness intended for backhand and should go on a faster blade.

Review of Friendship/729 72942deg blue sponge, medium tack, lowest profile of pips i ve seen - quite wide as well. I played this on FH of a Sanwei Fextra (6mm 7ply). It is controllable and dead in the short game and it has some lively rebound at medium speed, excelent grip on flicks and serves. Hitting hard gets you a low throw shot that is also spinny. I prefer this to faster forehand rubbers, as you can hit at max speed and the sponge can store the energy and load more spin, resulting in faster shots but trajectories that are only marginally longer. On a slower blade this might not apply.

Review of Globe 999999 Red, 1.8 mm but looks like 2.0, marked 40 deg white firm sponge. Long lasting tackiness, had mine for 3 years, i moved it on a outdoor blade and - surprise - it s still playable without even using a rubber protector for a long time. Crazy. I played it with Yinhe N6 and N9 and found both combination tricky as a beginner. Difficult to lift backspin and could not loop no spin balls, always needed to commit some power. It blocked short und pushed well on the backhand, this lack of bonce was both safe for me as confortable for the opponent. I think it took almost one year to break in and show a bit of softness. Maybe now it's just worn. I m thinking to rebuy and see what was that about.

Review of Palio AK 47 Yellow SpongeTricky one to review. Bounces very high with little effort, in combination with low throw, makes me overshoot sometimes, but makes it a good and explosive block in passive shots. On a Yinhe W6 and PG2 i had trouble with flicks and in the short game. On Sanwei Fextra it went better, making it an okay rubber for the backhand but maybe still too hard to control. On the forehand speed was okay, but not enough spin to serve. Maybe someone knows if the Black one is tackier, that would help.
Yellow sponge marked 42-44deg. The pips are tall, the topsheet looks matt and of a darker red tone than some other semitransparent red chinese topsheets. It looks thick and firm, not really softish like this Aurus and other Euro rubbers. Maybe it's synthetic rubber instead of natural? PM me if you know how it compares to other synthetic ESN rubbers. It loads quite a lot of backspin in the shortgame/pushing - to my surprise, because it is said to be non tacky. In the right weather it played well, but indoor it's often humid and in winter not warm enough, this made it slip sometimes. I guess you can make a case to play this rubber outdoor on dirty tables in sommer, because it doesn't pick up much dust and it's cheap and resistent to damage. You need a protecting sheet with adhesive, because a chinese one will stay up. Maybe you can leave it bare and it will not oxidate much.
