Review of DHS Hurricane 3 (H3)Not impressed with the rubber.Mainly due to its lack of speed for my offensive style. Otherwise nice rubber and perform well on various things (particularly good with close to the table play). Apr 05, 2016

Friendship/729 Focus 3 Snipe

Review of Friendship/729 Focus 3 SnipeUpdate2: After two months of play, I am very impressed with the rubber. I never played with a rubber for so long which is not a Rakaza, Acuda, etc. After two months of regular play, it plays just as new. I used it on forehand on BTY Viscaria and Donic ultracarbon senso blades.Update 1 Reviews given on this rubber are by very experienced and knowledgeable players. And I totally agree with them... This rubber is truly amazing ... Use on off- and higher rated blades for utilizing it's all gears. I will use this for upcoming tournament. Thanks. May 06, 2016

GKI Euro Spintech

Review of GKI Euro SpintechUpdate: I find this rubber less durable and is character changes. This has become very inconsistent over 3 months time. I feel this sheet is fine for club play.Received the rubber last night and glued on my DHS PG9 Off++ wooden blade. Initial impressions... First it's a tensor rubber. Black rubber... harder than Mark V but softer than MXP. Top sheet is tightly glued to its sponge. Sponge is non porous, Easy to cut too. I used speed glue and top sheet curved in 2 quotes... needed to press down rubber on blade to affix nicely. Actually I bought it to boycott chinese products... but I am happy its much better than 729 Focus III snipe. This rubber is AWESOME and really good for various shots .... close to net or on-the-table offensive play ... (good for looping + smashes + carries spin + nice speed). Its alive at mid distance too (2-3 feet from table)... I do not play much away from the table. Finally I am using it on BH (I can be played on FH too... medium sponge with hard top sheet allows for needed spin). About control... its good and I enjoyed it, allows some dwell though its not tacky at all. Downside..I received MAX version (should be about 2.3 mm) and weighs 50gms cut without glue. for non ITTF tourneys or club level). Dec 26, 2016

Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft
|

Review of Yasaka Rakza 7 SoftCan there be a better rubber... DO NOT AGREE WITH SPIN SPEED CONTROL RATINGS GIVEN HERE... my take is:Speed 8.9 Spin 9.4 Control 9.7 (There is probably no other rubber matching to control offered by this rubber) Through angle is medium-high Durability of top surface is exceptional. 7 months old rubber acts like new. Wonderful looping... I start using it on FH for its precision. WIll soon have both sides with the same rubber. I played with Rakza 7 Soft on BH for two years until recently when I realized its wonderful grace on the forehand as well. This is the rubber which would overtake every other rubber in past and future. Very good for top spin play, blocks, chops or what you want to hear... this is a truly great rubber from Yasaka. I have played with Rakza 7, Rakza 9, Tibhar Evo MXP, Mark V and many other rubbers... but trust me, Rakza 7 soft is one thing which cannot be compared with any other rubber. Its just so unique and awesome. Jan 08, 2015

Yasaka Rakza 9

Review of Yasaka Rakza 9This gives you confidence and understanding.Speed + Spin + Control = 9.4+9.2+9.2, this is a very balanced rubber at top speed. I use it for FH. It become much softer after 6 m of use, still very good... (personally it become better since I like softer rubbers). Much better than Tibhar Evo MXP for FH. Good with Offensive blades. I just love it ! Apr 22, 2015

Yasaka Mark V

Review of Yasaka Mark VWhen I was struggling with my rakza 9/7 2.0mm, mark v 1.8mm came to my rescue on viscaria blade. I am truly amazed on the performance of this rubber. It allows for play in all gears. I do not miss my rakzas while playing with mark v. Unbelievable control and actually nice speed (8.6/10). It allows for pushes and outstanding on the table and mid distance play. (Added: Superb at loopong both BH and FH... I fall in love with this rubber and I was never so good with any other costlier rubbers... only I miss the hard rubber feel on FH). My idea is to play with it for sometime then move on to rakzas again. Thanks for reading the review.Dec 02, 2016
