Review of Adidas TenZoneAs compared to Vega Pro/Sigma Pro: much better control in the short game, less sensitive to incoming spin, not too bouncy, very good at blocking, fast when smashing, and great at looping against underspin.Update: still playing with it on my FH and loving it! Best rubber for a looper! Jun 13, 2012

Adidas P7

Review of Adidas P7Played a season with P7 on BH, and started looking for a replacement like many others. Became curious about Nittaku Fastarc G-1, and purchased a sheet. Well, here is a surprise. Nittaku Fastarc G-1's sponge, the topsheet surface, pips - all look identical to P7's. Plays the same way.TLDR: Anyone looking for a P7 replacement should switch to Fastarc G-1. DHS NEO Hurricane 3
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
Review of DHS NEO Hurricane 3I have switched to DHS Neo H3 on FH from european tensor rubbers. Main reasons for the switch:* H3 is more linear, and therefore far more predictable * H3's tack means that it is easier to vary spin on serves * H3's tack add extra level of control to FH short game, especially when handling short no-spin serves to fh * When looping, H3 produces a different arc than tenergy and tensor rubbers, something that never fails to surprise opposition * It is much easier to loop short balls over the table - using just H3's tacky toposheet * the amount of spin that H3 is capable of generating is clearly no less than that of the spinniest non-tack rubbers The only downside I can think of is that FH blocks are a bit soft because of the tack. But then why not counterhit instead of block on FH? Nov 29, 2014

Palio Thors

Review of Palio ThorsTried Palio Thors for a month on Xiom Zetro Quad and V1. Very good in the short game, much less sensitive to incoming spin than a normal non-tacky rubber such as Omega IV.Slow controllable loops are very nice, with loads of spin. However, this rubber especially shines in the fast power loop department. It seems to generate so much spin, that my opponents are having a lot of trouble retuning the ball. At least as good as Tenergy 05. IMHO, better due to far superior control in the short game. Aug 19, 2011

Xiom Omega IV Pro

Review of Xiom Omega IV ProI've got Xiom Omega IV Pro 2.0mm on each side of a Xiom Zetro Quad blade. Very good control in the short game. Serves are spinny enough (reference - Vega Pro and Tenergy 05). Brush looping is a breeze, powerloops are amazing. Lots of dwell time. Blocking and smashing is okay (Vega Pro is better).Much lighter than Yasaka Rakza 7. About the same weight and hardness as Xiom Vega Pro. Mar 04, 2011
