Friendship/729 Focus 2
IKon 9/5/2010
This is more euro-type rubber just like other focus rubbers. Focus II has hardest sponge and lower throw (one of the lowest throws of 729 rubbers, but there are other brands rubbers with lower throw). Not the best for serve and there are better 729 rubbers for looping, but all in all, very nice rubber in many categories.
I have two sheets in 1.8mm on a Yinhe all wood blade M6.
This is good rubber was slightly tacky (Black) red not and that went after about an hour of playing didn't return even with cleaning.
I liked this rubber for an All to Off game.
I can drive the ball with either top spin or loop from mid distance and chop or block with consitancey.
I am currently lending this blade rubber combo to a reletive who has just taken up the game.
Control is very good, a nice rubber from 729, thumbs up.
Also got each sheet off ebay for under £1.05 plus £2.99 shipping. Great value for money.
playing both sides big slam on a jonyer, went to focusII on the backhand and immediately
my loops went on the table again, gripping the ball very well
very concistent looping backspin, and not slow at all
sponge feels medium hard
excellent for looping at the table and blocking and looping from mid distance
only a little tack new, lost in 10 mins
Friendship 729 Focus 2 is the best rubber for offense. It fits to players who mostly attack.
I use this rubber for my forehand.
I highly recommend this rubber to my brother and to my friends because this is an excellent rubber.
