Butterfly Glayzer

Butterfly Glayzer ? This is for those who prefer softer rubbers than Chinese or Hybrid rubbers. It’s a medium-hard rubber, with the spring sponge X technology at around 48 degrees. In my opinion, it packs more spin than the Glayzer 09c. ? It has a softer feel than the Dignics 05 but it feels harder than the Butterfly Tenergy 05. It has a grippy top sheet making it pretty consistent with looping and spinning but it does not really stand out when compared with the other rubbers. I will say, for its price though, it’s really good. I would recommend it over the tenergy series. If you used to use T64 or T05 you might want to give the Glayzer a try. I have been playing with Glayzer for 3 months now so it is time to review the rubber. Excellent rubber for blocking and short game. The rubber will help you block even the spinniest shots and short game is also fantastic. In those 2 aspects Glayzer really shines. Flat hits are very consistent due to the medium hard sponge. In terms of speed Glayzer is definitely not a slow rubber, the catapult effect is not as big when you play with Tenergy rubbers or Rozena but it is there. Now the only weakness of Glayzer is spin. Not the spinniest rubber, you really have to work hard to get a lot of spin. Due to the medium hard sponge it is quite hard to activate the rubber so Glayzer is definitely not for beginners. Overall it is a good rubber but nothing special.

Tamed version of dignics 05. Weighs around 46gm on standard off blade. Has good spin. Decent speed and good control. Has good gears so easy to control. Hitting topspin is nice. Counters are ok. Pushes and blocks are excellent. It feels somewhere between European and Chinese rubbers in terms of sponge. Can recommend to intermediate players.

Very good rubber for beginners like me. It's awesome to pair with an Innerforce. Control with enough speed and spin. By the looks of the topsheet, it seems like its going to last long like Dignics 80. Just be careful on regluing. because the sponge is quite prone to chipping when peeling off the old glue on it.

this rubber is annoying , i hope i will change my opinion on it.. and maybe because of my BH technique , i use it with stratus pwoerwood from tibhar, firstly .. many will think this rubber for beginner .. contrary to what one might think this rubber is offensive but not easy to handle .. you should have a very stable technique to have secure ball because the ball fly away with the high throw angle , the arc is so high , iam used to play with flat low throw rubber like MX-S , which is totally different from this one , you should play with arm extended technique and move more straight than upward to have good balls , it is not too grippy too.. so don't play with closed angle .. this is another downside .. you should play straight balls with very good technique to have strong and secured balls , the spin is not very heavy , this rubber is good to have quick topspin or quick counter attack.. but not for backhand looping rallies ..
