The average weight of 2.0mm after cutting is about 46-47g on shakehand or Cpen backhand. It is not insanely heavy for sure, just a typical medium-heavy rubber weight.
Top sheet is a little bit sticky, but could be neglected.
Throw angle is clearly not medium-high, lower than fastarc series and other famous rubbers, but not too low, could be 4.3-4.5. When you attack in right way, it is interestingly over the net all the time, especially pushing is fantastic, very confident to push to the deep or to wide angle!
Due to its 1.9mm diameter of pips, this rubber is mainly designed for close-medium table game. You can tell this from Nittaku's words: Since firmly grasp the ball in the hitting point of early timing, you can get a more speedy in a wide range of tactics. I believe Nittaku makes it successfully.
Its sound is great, which is a perfect indicator for your hit, I do enjoy the different sound with various power.
Sponge is typical medium, but the thick top sheet is kind of strong. Nice combination, general feeling is very sweet, so Japan.
Speed is definitely enough-9.0, also is spin-9.1. I rate control at 9.7, very very stable with all kind of shots, e.g., aggressive block is as precise as you wish.
All in all, very good rubber for close-medium table games. But do not hope a really high throw angle from it.
as many gears as hurricane, faster than tenergy when new, but durability is not as good as fastarc bc topsheet wears out quicker somewhat like tenergy. sponge hardness is perfect. when new, it is awesome. after awhile, spin seems the same but it starts making a sharp, cracking noise when contacted in the worn area
