Palio CJ8000 Biotech rubbers use the classic CJ8000 topsheet, fairly soft and half-tacky for a very nice blend of speed and spin. The new topsheet will pick a ball up off the table when pressed down onto it, but just for a moment.

Palio Biotech sponges place the topsheet under tension, giving an increase in speed, spin, and overall performance over untensioned rubbers. Enjoy the performance and the pleasing "click" sound when striking the ball, all for a great price!

The CJ8000 Biotech 36-38 degree rubber has a soft sponge for excellent looping performance close to the table. It makes a great two-sided looping rubber, especially for the backhand. It also makes a great forehand rubber for a harder blade or for anyone looking for spin and control for looping. Need a rubber to execute consistent loops for third ball attack or serve return? This is a great option.

First of all, this rubber costs 8$. That is amazing. Second, the mix between takiness and catapult effect while having a full backhand stroke is just amazing. My side spins have never experienced that level of spin. The ball sinks in rubber and spin levels are just insane. Yes, this rubber is slow but control is high. Every shot is playable. Pair it with an allwood 5 plies blade that has some flex and you will be surprised. No laser shot as it is too slow but for a full backhand chinese stroke, you get enough speed to finish points. Recommended.

I’ve tried a lot of rubbers, and I always end up coming back to the CJ8000 Biotech. It just feels right. When I brush, the ball bites perfectly — the spin is crazy but still under control. The 36-38 sponge gives me that soft feeling I love, so I can exaggerate my spin and still hit hard without the ball flying off the table. It doesn’t feel dead, it doesn’t feel too springy — just pure connection between my hand, the blade, and the ball. Every shot feels clean. Whether I loop, side-spin, or smash close to the table, it gives me confidence every time. I don’t care how expensive or “high-tech” the others are — CJ8000 Biotech just plays better for me. It’s light, spinny, stable, and honest. For the way I play — spin first, power second — this rubber is simply perfect.

Japanese sponge/regular (chinese) sponge: speed: 7/8 spin: 9/9 control: 9/9 uncut weight: 69g/62g dwell time: 9/8 opening loops: 8/9 throw angle: 8/8 I prefer the regular sponge, this is better speed and lighter.

The rubber was used in a Stiga Tube Offensive. Tacky surface. Very good spin (as most of chinese rubbers). Control for passive / active blocks and pushes are quite easy. If you stop the hand, the rubber absorbs the energy andd do the job. The Top Spin (highs) are heavy (lots of spin) and easy to do. The Speed bad point. On hard Drives or Smashes the sound is good, but needs some efforts and hand-job to have a killer-drive. Maybe is a carbon blade (Off+) the rubber became more faster and satifactory speed. ------------------------------- Resume: The services could really have an upgrade with less efforts (as in all chinese soft-medium rubbers). If you want a control, spinny and medium fast rubber, this is a good option, because de price is really GOOOOD !
