You'll like love to play with this rubber. I use Hardness: 40-42.
the check is incredibly good. spin and speed are enough. It works well with carbon blade. Price and performance are very good.
28-9-2018:Love this one.Amazing gem of a rubber.I have it in black(40-42 HARDNESS) on my BH on a ultra fast Yinhe T10+Cypress balsa blade.I can easily lift backspin....wow,I love it.Very good for blocks, super control.Good serves+receives.Update(20,Oct,2018)-Best BH rubber so far,I have never been able to do banana flicks on chop/backspin serves...this one is making me do it easily.Maybe the light and fast blade is also helping. This is the most amazing rubber...........if I want I can make the ball dead...no spin.....when needed....serves are very spinny...but the best is the BH kills on backspin serves....supppper fast.So this rubber has too many gears,.The feel of the rubber and the sound makes it seem like a very soft rubber...thud sound. But for wristy BH strokes and loops, loop drives...this is amazing.
Update 5 April,2019-Chinese rubbers need lot of hitting power to show their full potential..........I do prefer only fast blades for Chinese rubbers in addition to having a fairly strong motion for my FH loops. With slow blades Chinese rubber feel dead...........but on a fast blade like t11+ or t10+ Yinhe blades...they are amazing.Even a player like me can have the satisfaction of swinging side spins like Xu Xin.Hadou 40+ is a great rubber....hits,loops ,blocks all rock.
Update 3:10 Nov,2019:This is simply a great rubber-poor mans Tenergy 05(which also I have).Sponge breaks easily on removing from blade-can't be re-used or re-glued.
Update 4:30-10-2020-Spin fades away pretty fast on regular use.But still a very good rubber.Very good for looping, lovely low throw angle, ball dips and lands deep, never goes out-I have it on Viscaria(butterfly).
This is my first review, and I will be honest.. I am about 4 months past being a beginner hack. Anyway, for the price this is a pretty nice rubber. I have the 40-42 on both wings on a Stiga Infinify VPS. I am going to compare this to Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft on the same blade. This loops are very similar to the R7S, but a little slower with a little more control. It blocks very well. FH flicks are not as good as the R7S, not crisp (could be me). BH "banana" flicks are good, but on the slow side, the R7s is better for this. Looping underspin and counter loops seem to be a bit better on the Hadou 40+. A great rubber to try at a great price. (**Update- February 2019**) I started using this rubber on my Sanwei F3 Pro blade. A blade that is a bit faster than the Stiga Infinity that I was using. These Hadou 40+ rubbers in 40-42 work very well on this blade. Exceptional control, good spin and speed. I am using them on the FH and BH. Almost a perfect setup for me right now. I also am using these rubbers on a stiffer and faster blade. Overall the blade is a little bit too fast for me right now. However, on this stiffer blade BH banana flicks seem to be considerably easier to execute. Maybe I just need more practice with the other setup.
I have used this rubber for the last season dutch competition (second class of non-professionals).
42-44 degrees, red, paired with friendship rosewood 7 (a hard veneer wood blade)
Initially I planned to use it on back hand, but it does not work well, the throw angle on back hand is not good, and because of the sponge, I couldn't feel the ball, not direct at all.
Then I switched on fore hand (back hand xiom vega x), it works immediately. Although the rubber itself lacks speed, but you can really control the ball, and the spin is very good for openning from backspin. Counter loops is also amazing, both mid to far distance. So I can control the game well and become more consistant than the season before.
I also paired this one on yinhe v14 pro recently, a much stiffer blade, on that one, this rubber works out much better, the ball is direct with control and spin. (only played one session). So in case you want to use it on back hand, use it on a stiff blade. You will be amazed.
The rubber is very durable also, hit the edges many times, but it looks like new still. And the sponge itself remains almost 90 percent of initial capable effect.
However, after this season, I found the rubber a bit slow to my forehand, so I bought hk1997 gold to try it out (after 2 training sessions, I like hk1997).
Overal, recommand for forehand, maybe back hand on a hard blade.
Best buy for a modern Chinese rubber. Similar too esn/ tensor rubbers but with more linear speed development . Faster and same spin like DHS H8. Absolutely made for 40+ ball. Works good with stiff allwood or carbon blades (40-42 degrees) and the harder rubbers on flexible blades. Worth a try.
