I've never really categorised my playing style until now and it took some consideration. My standard is not high and as such I suppose my style has a fair bit of evolution to come by which time I might be able to pigeon-hole myself a little more. That said, I've started to realise how important it is to bring an element of dynamism to the table, feeding off what works against your opponent as opposed to asserting a particular style upon the game. If you have one method/style of play and your opponent is comfortable with it, you may be in trouble unless you can adapt your game to suit. If you have a number of playing styles to your arsenal then perhaps an all-round game is what we should strive for (certainly at club level anyway).
