The Viscaria Super ALC is a blade equipped with Super Arylate-Carbon, which achieves a higher bounce while maintaining the flexibility of Arylate-Carbon. The basic design of the blade, such as the wood veneer structure, is based on the classic Viscaria, but the reaction property has been successfully improved without increasing the vibration property. This blade is suitable not only for top players but also for intermediate to advanced players and is recommended for players who want to obtain more power utilizing the features of the conventional Arylate-Carbon.

Updated: Super ALC has more dwell time and spin than the original Viscaria. Put DHS Hurricane National/Provincial blue sponge, Tibhar MXP 50, Rakza Z Extra Hard for FH and Tenergy 80, 05 and Goldarc 08 for BH or Dignics 05 both sides and you will be unstoppable on all your strokes. So controllable but powerful!!!

I feel this is softer and faster compared to Vis. Like Vis pairs seamlessly with any mid hard rubber on BH, though is very very (very!) picky with FH rubber - D05 is acceptable but ever so slightly soft. D80 too reactive on defense but great for attacking. T05H difficult to control, not enough dwell, needing lots of systematic training. T05 in 1.9 surprised me being better, though not in 2.1 - weird right? Vega Pro, Nexy Etika 51, GA8 50 were not quite there, missing something. MX-D was good for the first week or so before the factory boosting wore off. After countless months of constant changing, Rakza Z EH turned out to be my no.1, followed by Battle 2 (40 deg) and T05 1.9 as top 3 FH. I would expect D09c/boosted National H3 BS to be great but as RZEH is less than half the price of these means no need to waste my money to find out. Any of the forementioned on BH is fine except maybe Battle 2/H3 would be too slow on this wing. This blade has less of that springiness found in the normal slower Vis (perhaps the higher density weave of SALC?), so attacking feels more stable especially when it gets tight i.e. 7-9 down, 9-8 up, 10-10.

Beginner here, started TT just recently. Got visc super with ST grip, using black Fastarc G1 FH and pink Accuda S2 BH. To me it is the fastest and consistent in my current setup (and most expensive one) but has good control, mid range to table topspin were satisfying. driving in the table were easy, Looping okay. Overall I'm very satisfied with this setup. Problem is the place i often played is so dusty, so i'm using different setup to practice (a way moore cheaper blades and rubbers)

87g- Dignics 05 2.1mm both sides or D09C 2.1mm on FH (~185g), are the best combinations for this blade. It is not as fast as normal viscaria, but more stable, more control, and excellent spin. FL handle is very good. Overall quality is amazing. I tried also Tibhar K3 (53 and 55 hardness) and Xiom C57.5 (54.4g without glue-1.5g) , they are all very good on FH, but total weight exceeded 190g. T05 2.1 works well on TB ALC or viscaria, but less on this blade. It seems designed for D09C and D05.

For anyone considering this as a viscaria upgrade, it isn’t. Least controllable out of butterfly’s ZLC, SALC, AC, SZLC collection. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I would not consider this, and if I had the choice again I would go for fzd alc instead of this.
