Pure speed is not the sole motto of the FLAME EXTREME. The intelligent combination of 5 layers with the 0.8mm Liba inner veneer and the new type of BURNtec outer veneers makes it possible not only for professional players to control this blade. The unbeatable price-level will allow everybody to try an “extreme” blade.

The new JOOLA blade series “Flame” is based on the revolutionary JOOLA BURNtechnolgy. The outer veneers are heated to more than 200°C in a special kiln. According to which veneers are exposed to this process different playing features are generated. The technique guarantees an almost warp-free blade and excellent stiffness with above-average control features. Combined with the sophisticated WSI technology, the JOOLA Flame Series is the latest innovation on the blade sector.

Been using it for 7 years and I can say this is one of the fastest non-carbon blade in the market. You get the feel of 5 plies wood but the speed of carbon blade at the same time. The handling is so comfortable too! To get its maximum potential, I think you should use medium sponge rubber like barracuda. I am currently using ak47 blue for BH (great) and yinhe apollo 5 for FH (decent) though. I will change the FH with barracuda I think. Updated: after some researching, I don't recommend baracuda as a FH rubber for this blade, simply because of the high throw angle that cause the ball fly away from the table. I use Nittaku Fastarc G1 now for FH and enjoying the setup. Chinese tacky rubber is also perfect match for this blade but the rubber is usually heavy which I don't like.

solo con una prueba me pareció muy dura y poca sensación al golpear la bola, seria cuestión de probarla por un buen tiempo para dar una opinión mas acertada

This all wood blade is among the fastest in the market. Great blade for a wide range of offensive minded players. It needs softer to medium hard rubbers if you wish a stronger spin and control. It's perfect for smash, flick or flip and blocks. The blade is solid with a high pitch tone when vibrated. Definitely not too fast for me comparing to my Amultart, but it also has many gears and exceptionally easy to play with. Always consistent and reliable performance. A really good blade that ain't that expensive either.

Faster than a TBS Less spin than a TBS Less dwell time than a TBS Stiffer than a TBS More control than a TBS Thicker blade than TBS, results in a larger (thicker) handle which I love. TBS is too skinny. Tenergy is no good on this blade (way way too fast, too stiff, bottoms out too quickly), boost TX (max) works well, but is still very very fast. This must be the fastest all wood blade out there.
