Gambler GXM is made specifically for hitting, chopping, and aggressive style of defensive play. The pips are very small and widely spaced. Made with Gamber's Japanese “Oh-Toro” sponge, GXM generates an amazing amount of power when needed. GXM has much more control when hitting than long pips yet still manages to produce a strange dead ball to elicit mistakes from your opponent.

Due to the lively oh-toro sponge, and the pips being firm with good friction , this rubber is somewhat like a short/medium hybrid compared to other medium pips. It is faster and has more spin than 563-1, giving it a wider range of viable shots at the expense of being more reactive to incoming spin and speed. Blocking loops and returning serves still has some deception, more so than short pips. This rubber rewards decisive strokes, and can loop an underspin or no-spin ball. The topsheet seems the same as 563 Mystery III, but with a different sponge.
