SpinLord Agenda

Along with Feint Long III and TSP Curl P1R and P4, this is the best rubber for long-distance long-pip chopping. It is livelier than Feint Long III and Curl P4, and has more active properties around the table. This makes it slightly more difficult to tame when chopping away from the table, but once dialled in it does this very well. I actually prefer it to Feint Long III, especially on a Def+ blade. Feint Long III excels when facing demon loopers, but unless you are playing at a very high level consistently, it is actually a liability because soft pushes tend to go into the net whereas Agenda gives you more spring and a bit more wobble (though still not much). Agenda is also less grippy and comes with a marginally thinner sponge, so serve returns are easier and allow for more possibilities. Hitting is pretty decent with both. To me, it plays pretty similar to Curl P1R, with the chops getting more dangerous the more loops you cut (as opposed to Feint Long III, which gives a great first chop due to the grip but bottoms out soon after), but, unfortunately, they only offer Agenda with 1.0mm sponge instead of 1.3mm or 1.5mm (in which it would equal or exceed P1R, at least in chopping). At any rate, if the thinner sponge doesn't bother you, Agenda is half the price of the other chopping pips and durability is excellent, and is probably worth the extra domestication period in the long run when compared with Feint Long III, unless you are chopping loops by Dima and Timo on a weekly basis!

I tried this LP when moving from sponged to OX LP because it was supposed to be good for chopping. And it was. I was actually getting more underspin and forcing more errors than with my TSP P1-R 1.3mm, while gaining loads of control. The problem was that I lost a lot in terms of attacking with LP, and I could actually chop-block at the table better with the TSP P1-R with the thick sponge than with this rubber. I moved on to other OX rubbers that can still chop pretty well but also aren't a liability in the short game and on offense.

Agenda is a real allrounder. I was playing with Dorneglanz for a few years and tested Agenda directly in competition, yesterday with very good results . The main differences with Dornenglanz are: - Much more control - A little bit slower - A little less deception and inversion when blocking. - A lot better for chops away from the table - Much more control for attacking - Overall more control in every strokes

It feels like Feint long 2 but not as good. It has a higher throw angle, is harder to play with, has less reversal, is slower and the balls flies shorter. Overall still fine, but there are better alternatives in my opinion.

Lovely lp rubber. I've recently gone back to this rubber in 1mm and I loaded it up on a donic burn all+. Which is a nice controlled blade. It is lively, but has good control. What I like is chopping from afar spot on, fishes balls back well, blocks ok. Can attack. Soft flexy pips means pips bend nicely to manipulate spin. Quality top notch. Very nice lp. For good lp play with reliability.
