Maximum sweet spot + powerful topspin strokes TENSOR - not only more speed, more power and speedgluing sound, but also more spin and more feeling! The exceptional feeling of TENSOR rubbers is core of the REVO FIRE. The sponge absorbs the energy of the appearing ball when the player hits the ball and immediately new energy is released. This effect, responsible for the special feeling, enables every player to have a very good control with the REVO fire. The medium adjusted sponge implements accents in active as well as in passive playing situations by demonstrating a brilliant catapult effect. One can play fast and precise topspins and in decisive moments REVO fire offers its existing speed reserves in order to directly achieve the winning point.
I have played this rubber for about 8 months now. I started with two sheets. I have played it on an Xiom Stradivarius, Nittaku Noveliar, and an Xiom Zetro Quad. It's good and super high control on the Strad, and the Noveliar. I figured this rubber would drop a bit in the control category when using a faster blade in the Zetro Quad. I was wrong. It's good speed, and spin with fantastic control. You can play all shots very effortlessly, and it made a transition from Noveliar to Zetro Quad very easy. The Zetro Quad is considerably faster, and the control didn't drop at all with the Revofire, however the Zetro Quad turned the Revofire into a bit of a beast. It's a good rubber at doing all things well. If matched with the correct blade it's a great performer. It doesn't perform poorly on the other blades either. It just shines on the ZQ.
It's a very good option for allround players who want to give a plus using a powerful spinny rubber.
I think that this rubber could be used with hard blades to enchance it speed and give it an offensive style.
It has a lot of spin for serves and its control is really good, the speed is acceptable.
I can't understand why "professionals" don't see this rubber as an option for them, but I think it could work better than average for fast and spin-charged games.
rating is 2150 - 2200; got this rubber to give it a try, and have to say overall it's pretty good, but not really great at anything. The spin is not anything remarkable, and the throw is medium. It probably is better for hitting and maybe loop drive, but not for slower brush looping. To me it feels like a nice sheet of Sriver with a little more speed. This is not the magic rubber you seek, but it's ok as an allround rubber.
I play a black 0.9mm on a Sadius carbon blade, very easy control also FH_BH i play FH more spin and more feeling than sriver and sriver fx...i found the powerfull game with this rubber...
