Galaxy / Moon Speed
New model 2014

This Max Tense equipped rubber bring you a new speed sensation in the new era. Moon Speed is designed for the new non celluloid ball. It has a grippy but not tacky surface like its predecessor (Moon) . The sponge is soft but with high bounce because of the new developed sponge (God Crossbow). Moon speed facilitates a full repertoire of shots, but will give you also fantastic speed.

Disappointed in this rubber. Very bouncy and less spinny. Just stick with the regular Moon rubber instead of speed.

Moon Speed is great value for the money. I got mine for about $10. The topsheet is almost non-tacky, but it's very grippy. I got the version with medium sponge, which is fairly hard to my surprise. The uncut weight is 72g. The medium version has enough gears to be used on FH. If you are looking to use Moon Speed on BH, I suggest getting the version with soft sponge for lighter weight and better control. For me, this rubber is a cheap alternative to tensor rubbers. The overall weight, hardness, speed, and control is similar to Xiom Vega Pro. The only thing slightly lacking is spin. Moon Speed is not as dynamic or spinny as Vega Pro. However, the difference is not obvious. The main complaint I have for this rubber is the weight. For me, 72g (uncut) is too heavy to be used as BH rubber. I need something lighter for BH. But this is only a personal preference. If you like grippy tensor rubbers (like Xiom Vega Pro), then I highly recommend Moon Speed. Putting the medium or hard version on FH and the soft version on BH would result in a good rubber combination even for a high level player.

I have used moon speed on 2 blades Yinhe Mercury y -13 - for powerfull hitting - more control and above average spin butterfly Jonyer- spinny setup, excellent serves and counters, smashes , loops, blocks do suffer but i have to adjust to bit flex of blade to control it. Moonspeed rocks

I use red yinhe moon speed for FH. Not too fast, but this rubber give you some great spin if you use it with right skill. Not too tacky, control is good. Sometimes, i think this rubber is great for BH
