Huieson Hurricane Storm

Greetings- I think this is the best ''budget'' rubber,and deserves a higher rating,especially in the spin category.I use this rubber on a few of my inexpensive and unknown blades, and the experiences have been generally positive. Topsheet and sponge seem well matched, with good elasticity , so it doesn't feel too hard or dead for a Chinese rubber. Slightly tacky with good grip, it is a good mixture of the two. I have been using this on a 5 ply wood blade for serve practice, and am impressed by how much spin it produced. Lasts well and I think it would be a great training rubber, or even in match play for amateurs and lower level club players. Inexpensive but not cheap, I prefer it to others like Mercury 2, Reactor Tornado V5, 729 Geospin and a few others I have tried.Sorry, didn't weigh it or try it boosted.

When cut to 157 x 150 mm, each side of rubber weighs 54 gm. Speed is like a regular yasaka mark v. Spin is good.
