A real outsider, very easy to play, that many has missed out on. Very good and consistent rubber with loads of spin. I hope more people is going to enjoy it
Tibhar 5Q VIP is a very good rubber but a bit too fast for me. It has a lot of spin and quite good control. I recommend it for Forehand if you like an offensive play. As I wrote before, for my allround style it was little too fast.
But it is worth emphasizing that the durability of this rubber was very, very good.
To sum up, my rating for Tibhar 5Q VIP (in scale 1 to 10) is:
Speed = 9,4
Spin = 9,2
Control = 8,4
Playing in red 2.1mm (on BH) and nittaku fastarc g-1 super thick black (FH) on a donic waldner allplay. Coming from donic baracuda, but now with an allround blade it is difficult to give a direct comparison. I have tried many different composite off blades and finally decided to go a level down and try a 5 ply allround blade and am extremely impressed. Playing baracuda for along time and trying many rubbers, I kept going back to baracuda and was always very happy with the overall performance. I have only had about 3 seesions with the tighar 5q and find it very similar to the baracuda and had no problems playing the 5q and needed no adjusting at all. Topspin feel really good and the overall feeling, control and dwell time is excellent. Will need to still play a few sessions and see how it holds out in tournaments as I have only been practicing so far. Will update asap.
this is the best rubber with medium sponge so far.The top sheet is gripy and flex.The sponge is so elastic so you can make easy low push and when you need the rubber can be very fast
