Genius Sound is the softer and reworked version of Genius, making it the ideal rubber for a very dynamic game, and allowing a brand new variety of strokes at mid-distance. Genius Sound confers the sufficient security to realize great-quality shots in any playing situation. From the combination of its newly developed sponge and spin-rich surface Genius Sound was born. Experience a rubber rich in sensation, with great sound, fast and full of spin.
This is my review after using it for 3 years. I have Andro tempertech all+, and i have Genius sound on both sides. Excellent for top spins, but loops don't generate that much spin. Good for smashes also. Push also goes good, but not as good as tackey rubbers. Earlier i had Galaxy Moonpro on my BH. Since that wears out soon, i changed to Genius itself on the BH too. A slight change which i did on the BH helped in the transition. Just that we need to allow the ball to sink into the sponge and generate the swing.
Not a fast rubber, or may be i feel so coz i have it on wooden blade. May be it is more speedy on carbon. It is extremely good on the control part. Incomming spin bites it a bit, but more we play with this rubber, out games gets adjusted with it.
A very forgiving rubber indeed. I would recommend it to medium level players.
Thanks Ganesh
I play with 1.8 in forehand, with victas matshushita blade. Compare to Rakza 7 soft that was my previus rubber, this have better control, lower angle, better in smashes, a little faster, but I think a little less spin especialy in services and chops. A good rubber overall.
Great rubber from Tibhar! Very good speed with great spin and control. I use it on FH and BH. Very good for an allround/attacking style of play. Great feeling for a ball with a big dwell time. Not that good when playing with plastic ball, mainly because I'm not able to play good first slow spin, but it could be just me. Durability is 10/10. Using it for a year and it is "like new", i'm playing 8h a week. It is a soft rubber so edges fall off easily. I recommend it to a beginner and advanced players.
